Our residents were thoroughly delighted today by a very special visitor....Boomer! He made his rounds with tail wags, gentle snuggles, a few kisses, and that sweet calming presence only a good pup can bring.

Thank you Boomer, for brightening our day and bringing so many smiles to our community! We can't wait for your next visit. 🐾

Therapy dog visits are pure magic - like someone flipped the mood-boost switch for the whole community. These visits provide an emotional boost, relaxation, social connection, comfort and can also lower your blood pressure and release feel-good hormones.

Our Men's Club gathered today for great conversation, laughs, and quality time together! 👏

It's always wonderful to see our residents come together to share stories, connect, and enjoy camaraderie that makes our community so special.

Our residents had a spooktacular time at our Halloween Social! From festive treats to fun costumes and plenty of laughter, it was a frightfully good afternoon. 🕷🧡👻🧡

A Big Thank-You to our wonderful community partner, Savannah from Amedisys for stopping by and treating our Memory Care residents to spooktacular Halloween Ice Cream Floats! Everyone had a frightful fun time enjoying these delicious creations and getting into the festive spirit. 👻🎃🧡 Tasty and adorable.

Thank you Sentimental Journey for coming to perform for our residents! They had a wonderful time and enjoyed the live music and chance to get up and dance, sing along, and even tapping their toes.

What perfect weekend weather to get outside. Not everyone could get to the official walk so our residents enjoyed the beautiful weather while showing their support for the Walk to End Alzheimer's here at Mennowood. Our residents also sell art they create for donations to support their cause so if you see any artwork that speaks to you let us know at the front desk. We're so grateful for everyone who joined in and helped make a difference.
