Holiday Light Stroll The 2025 Holiday Light Stroll presented by Langley Federal Credit Union This is a "one night only" event though the Celebration in Lights.

The Center for Child & Family Services Holiday Light Stroll presented by Langley Federal Credit Union will be held each year on the Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at Newport News Celebration in Lights (over 1 million colorful Holiday Lights is a 2 mile leisurely walk through the lights). The Holiday Light Stroll is a fundraiser for the children and family programs at the Center for Child & Family Services (the Center). The Center is a non profit organization that has been serving the Virginia Peninsula and surrounding communities since 1943 by providing counseling and support services to those who are facing life's challenges. The Center provides over 18+ services to thousands of clients year - Services range from Mental Health Counseling, Youth and Adult anger management, Domestic Violence Prevention Counseling, Job Readiness for those with barriers to employment, Financial Education and Money Management Counseling, Debt Counseling, Housing and Representative Payee Services for Social Security Administration and Veterans Administration, Child Care Training, Youth Life Skills, and Substance Abuse Counseling ..... just to name a few of the 18+ programs and 50+ services we offer.

100% of all proceeds from the Holiday Light Stroll goes to support our programs and services.

VIP Holiday Light Stroll Participants Information:

Below are the important details you’ll need for your VIP arrival, parking, and experience.

Exclusive parking at Greenwood Elementary
Meet & Greet with Santa and Friends, including the Snow Queen and Snow Princess
Live holiday music
Snacks & Hot Chocolate
Complimentary bus transportation to the start of the Holiday Light Stroll

📌 Important Details for Tonight

All VIP guests will park at Greenwood Elementary
The VIP Experience runs from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM

The VIP area and activities end promptly at 7:00 PM, Last Bus will leave for the park at 7:00pm from Greenwood. If you are running late, you may park at Woodside and ride normal buses from Woodside High School.

Please plan to arrive early so you can enjoy all VIP amenities before boarding your shuttle

Thank you for purchasing tickets to the Holiday Light Stroll presented by Langley Federal Credit Union, benefiting the Center for Child & Family Services! We look forward to seeing you on Tuesday, November 25, between 5:00 PM–8:30 PM.

This is a one-night-only, rain-or-shine event.

Parking & Arrival Information - Please Note a previous email said there was parking available at Greenwood Elementary - There is NO parking available at Greenwood Elementary unless you have a VIP Experience Ticket or Add On.

⚠️ Parking Is Very Limited — Please Carpool Whenever Possible!

Parking is available only at Woodside High School. Because space is limited, carpooling is strongly encouraged to ensure all guests can be accommodated. We ask for patience for bus loadings and parking during the busy times, especially during the first timeline slot.

You will begin your experience at Woodside High School, where you will board shuttle buses to the start of the 2-mile walk. You will ride the bus only to the park; all participants walk the 2 miles back to the parking lot.

❗ No Street Parking

There is NO parking allowed on Woodside Drive or Ft. Eustis Blvd. Cars will be ticketed and/or towed.

Your Ticket Time Slot

Please arrive only during your assigned time slot.

If your ticket is for 5:00–7:00 PM:

Shuttle runs continuously from 5:00–7:00 PM

Last entry into the shuttle line: 6:50 PM

Busiest time for parking: 5:45–6:30 PM

To avoid delays, we recommend arriving before 5:30 PM or after 6:30 PM

Expect possible wait times of 20-30+ minutes during peak loading

If your ticket is for 7:45–8:30 PM:

Shuttle runs from 7:45–8:20 PM

Last entry into the line: 8:20 PM

Event closes at 9:30 PM
