Qualified Mental Health Professionals (QMHP C) (Full Time / Part Time)

Each One Teach One is seeking Qualified Mental Health Professionals who can will provide service within the community, responsible for providing counseling and casework services to clients, work within client's homes to provide Intensive In Home services to maintain mental health stabilization of school ages children within the community, and will work directly under the supervision of a Licensed Health Mental Professional (LMHP) and a Licensed Practicing Social Worker (LCSW).

Must meet criteria of the Virginia Board of Counseling and comply with registration requirements to maintain QMHP-C qualifications. Minimum qualifications for registration include one of the following: (1) a master's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, substance abuse or marriage and family therapy with an internship/practicum of at least 500 hours experience working with persons who have mental illness; or (2) master's or bachelor's degree in human services or special education, registered nurse license in Virginia, or licensed occupational therapist in Virginia with no less than 1,500 hours in the past 5 years of supervised experience providing clinical services to children or adolescents with mental illness in a setting where mental health treatment, practice, observation or diagnosis occurs. A valid Virginia Driver's License is also required.

Required Skills

Provide and/or deliver various skill building activities to increase community participation and awareness for individuals seeking mental health stability

Ability to assist consumers in developing daily and community living skills

Ability to assist consumers in development of leisure time interests/ activities

Ability and skills to maintain required confidentiality regarding individual case materials in compliance with Human Rights and HIPAA

Skills and abilities necessary to develop and write service plans and progress notes
