Chanel is our CHR Care Coordinator, bringing compassion, purpose, and heart to the work of harm reduction every day. Since joining MASS, she has helped lead meaningful work in our community, including the ongoing CHR Pregnancy Pilot and a successful CHR Lunch & Learn.

Chanel may not always be the loudest voice in the room, but her work speaks loudly. She shows up with kindness, consistency, and a deep passion for helping people feel safe, supported, and seen.

We’re launching a PrEP Vision Design Contest to help bring awareness, education, and community voice to PrEP. Show us what protection, love, empowerment, and prevention mean to you through an original design.

A lethal dose of fentanyl is 2 milligrams.

That's smaller than a few grains of salt. 🧂

Fentanyl is a synthetic opioid 50–100x stronger than morphine and it's now being pressed into counterfeit pills that look identical to Xanax, Percocet, and Adderall.

You can't see it. You can't taste it. You can't smell it.

Which is why fentanyl test strips exist and why having Narcan (naloxone) nearby can be the difference between life and death.

April 29th is Fentanyl Awareness Day.

This past Friday, the MASS family came together to celebrate our Director, **Gwen Ellis-Wilson**, and the incredible service, leadership, and dedication she continues to pour into this organization.

Through funding cuts, challenges, changes, and growth, Gwen has worked tirelessly to keep MASS moving forward, keeping our doors open, protecting jobs, securing grants, listening to staff, and making sure our mission continues to serve the community with compassion and purpose.
