All sessions will be available on Zoom to take part in from the comfort of your home or anywhere -OR- in person at the Waldport Community Center starting April 6th.

We start with weekly Sessions for 3 months, then go to 2x monthly for 3 months, and then once per month for the final 6 months. The time committment is minimal but the rewards to your health can be life changing as you learn to develop lifestyle changes.

We're so excited for this new free service we are offering! If you have prediabetes, are at risk/have Type 2 Diabetes, this program may be for you.
Join us to learn more about the Diabetes Prevention Program tomorrow night at 4pm PST either at the Waldport Community Center, or online via Zoom! You do not have to live locally to us to participate. The program will kickoff on April 6!
We will be introducing ourselves, going over the program and what it entails, and answering any questions. This will give you a great idea if you'd like to enroll in the program.

We are excited to announce the Herbalife Lifestyle Diabetes Prevention Program!
The Lifestyle Diabetes Prevention Program is a year long program. It’s designed for people with Prediabetes. It’s also for people who are at high risk for type 2 diabetes and want to lower their risk.

Organizations across the US are delivering the National Diabetes Prevention Program (National DPP) This is a free lifestyle change program to help prevent or delay type 2 Diabetes. The program is designed to reach adults with prediabetes or at high risk of developing type 2 Diabetes. Participants learn to make healthy food choices, be more physically active, and to find ways to cope with problems and stress.
We are offering a “Discovery Session” where all are invited to learn about what the course entails and the help we provide those with Prediabetes and their families.
This Discovery Session is 30 minutes.
Date & Time: Friday, March 20 at 4pm PST
Location: Waldport Community Center, Waldport, OR or on Zoom.
Who for: Anyone can attend the Discovery Session & enroll in the Lifestyle Diabetes Prevention Program Nationwide who are at risk for Diabetes. Family members are also welcome who are supporting a loved one with Prediabetes.
The Discovery Session is an introductory session designed to help participants understand the Lifestyle Program & enroll if they choose to.
The Discovery Session Provides an overview of the Lifestyle National Diabetes Program, and explains how participants can improve their health by using the Lifestyle Program’s proven behavioral strategies.
This session will help all who attend understand their ability to successfully improve their health. It will also help them identify healthy lifestyle skills that can be used right away and encourages people who are at risk of developing type 2 Diabetes to enroll in this free program and how to do so.
The Lifestyle Diabetes Prevention Program Classes will start on April 6th at 4pm PST (in person and Virtual through Zoom) for those who enroll and it will go for 1 year.
Space is limited and will be on a first come first serve basis for enrollment. When the class is full we will start a wait list for the next one.

This time of year we talk to a lot of people who are trying to lose weight and get back in shape after the holidays. We understand how you feel.

We felt the same way. We remember back at 32 years of age, when we had a combined 75 pounds to lose in 1996. There were many unsafe options out there on the market. As a registered nurse I wanted to avoid those options.
