As most of you may have already seen, Oaks Village has been closed due to unsafe conditions following a building inspection.

The building needs repairs in order to be used as the shelter going forward.
The team at Oaks has been working tirelessly to start these repairs and follow the orders given by the City.

However, the decision was made to close the shelter until the repairs are completed and up to code.

This resulted in vacating the entire shelter. As you can imagine that was so heartbreaking and stressful for the team of Oaks and the residents that now have absolutely no where to go.

It is our time to step up as a community and help.
They need our help, support, and donations more than ever right now.

I’m calling out to all of you in the community and especially the business owners of Monroe County.
Let’s stand up and help.

We will be making a donation as well as donating 10% of our profit to Oaks Village the rest of this month.
All of our prayers are will the displaced residents and their families and with the team at oaks while they navigate this difficult situation.
