It's Easter! Today we celebrate the greatest Resurrection in history—the victory of Jesus Christ over sin and death! ✝️

And while Easter is full of joy, family, and celebration… it can also come with a few unexpected moments that require a little resuscitation-level readiness.

From egg hunts to big family meals, here are a few **Easter safety reminders**:
🥚 Choking hazards for little ones (small toys, candy, eggs)
🍬 Jelly beans & small candies – best for children 4 years and older due to choking risk
🔥 Burns in the kitchen while preparing meals
🌼 Allergic reactions (foods, plants, or outdoor triggers)
🐣 Outdoor injuries from running, playing, and uneven ground

Just like we reflect on the power of resurrection, we’re reminded that knowing CPR and First Aid gives you the ability to step in when it matters most—to preserve life in critical moments.

At 1 Up CPR, our heart is to equip you with the skills to act confidently and save lives—because every life is worth fighting for.

This Easter, celebrate, rejoice… and be prepared. ❤️

Today is Saturday.
The in-between.
The waiting.
The silence.

After the darkest day in history on Friday… and before the victory of Sunday.

Pastor Levi Lusko describes it this way:
👉 “Saturday must have been a day of crushing disappointment… promises had been made but not yet fulfilled.”

Saturday is the day where:
Hope feels buried.
Prayers feel unanswered.
And nothing seems to be happening.

But something WAS happening.

Even in the silence… God was still working.

At 1 Up CPR, this reminds us of something important:
Sometimes the most critical moments happen in the in-between—when it feels like nothing is happening, but everything is at stake.

Just like in an emergency:
There’s a moment between collapse and response…
Between panic and action…
Between life and loss.

And in that moment, being prepared matters.

Saturday teaches us:
➡️ Don’t give up in the waiting
➡️ Don’t lose hope in the silence
➡️ Don’t assume nothing is happening

Because Sunday is coming.

And until then… we stay ready. ❤️

“Give an extra life.”

Today, we pause and remember Good Friday— the darkest day in history—the day Jesus Christ gave His life for us. ✝️

It was a day marked by suffering, sorrow, and sacrifice… yet through that darkness came the greatest act of love the world has ever known.

At 1 Up CPR, we reflect on something powerful today:
Because of His sacrifice, life matters deeply.

And while today is quiet and reflective, life around us still happens—and being prepared to care for others is one way we can live that out.

Here are a few **everyday safety reminders** as you gather with family this weekend:
🍽️ Be mindful of choking hazards—especially for little ones
🍬 Small candies (like jelly beans) should be limited to children **4+ years old**
🔥 Stay alert in the kitchen to prevent burns
🚗 Watch for increased traffic and distracted driving during holiday travel
🩹 Keep a basic first aid kit nearby for unexpected moments

We may not be able to stop every emergency… but we can be ready to respond with care, confidence, and compassion.

Today we remember the sacrifice.
Sunday, we celebrate the Resurrection.
And every day in between, we choose to protect and value life. ❤️

“Give an extra life.”

♥️ It’s !

DID YOU KNOW?
An AED (Automated External Defibrillator) can help restart a heart during sudden cardiac arrest — and you don’t need medical training to use one.

Simply turn it on and follow the voice prompts. The device will guide you step-by-step through what to do.

📍 Look for AEDs in public spaces near entrances and elevators. Knowing their location could help you save a life someday.

Be prepared. Be confident. Give an extra life.
