🎄Rural Medical Services Christmas Party Fun! 🎄

What an incredible day celebrating the season with our amazing RMS work family! Great food, nonstop laughter, and even better company made our annual Christmas party one to remember.

Fair warning—there are LOTS of pictures but we couldn’t leave anyone out because every single team member brings something special to our RMS family!

A huge THANK YOU to our leadership team for always pouring in to us, especially during moments like this. Your generosity, heart, and leadership mean more than words can say.

We are truly better than blessed and grateful for the fellowship, joy, and favor God continues to pour over our team. Feeling thankful, joyful, and ready for Christmas! ❤️

Rural Medical Services had a wonderful time in Parrottsville today for their annual Christmas parade! 🎄

We are honored to have won First Place in the parade, but what meant the most was the fellowship and joy we shared with our friends and neighbors in Parrottsville. The atmosphere was festive, the smiles were plenty, and it was truly a beautiful day to celebrate the season together.

Thank you, Parrottsville, for welcoming us with such warmth. Merry Christmas from all of us at Rural Medical Services!

Lights, Camera, Christmas!
We had an absolutely wonderful time being part of the Cocke County Chamber of Commerce Christmas Parade again this year! The atmosphere was magical, the crowd was incredible, and the community spirit could be felt in every smile.

We are honored and grateful to have won “Best Business Commercial” float! Our team put their hearts into bringing the theme Lights, Camera, Christmas to life, and we couldn’t be more proud of the joy it brought to our staff and our community.

Thank you to everyone who cheered us on, participated, and helped make this parade such a festive and unforgettable event. Serving this community is a blessing, and celebrations like this remind us just how special Cocke County truly is.

Special thanks to Tinker Clark and Buddy and Angelia Fox for their dedication and tireless efforts in difficult weather, we appreciate you both!

Today, on Veterans Day, we pause to honor and thank the brave men and women who have served our country. Your courage, sacrifice, and dedication protect the freedoms we enjoy every day.

November is Diabetes Awareness Month

Rural Medical wants to remind everyone that education and prevention are key when it comes to diabetes.

Did you know?
• More than 38 million Americans are living with diabetes — and about 1 in 5 don’t even know they have it.
• Another 98 million adults are living with prediabetes, meaning they are at high risk of developing type 2 diabetes.
• Without lifestyle changes, up to 70% of people with prediabetes will go on to develop diabetes in their lifetime.

What you can do to help prevent diabetes:
• Maintain a healthy weight
• Eat a balanced diet rich in fruits, vegetables, and whole grains
• Get at least 150 minutes of physical activity each week
• Schedule regular checkups and blood sugar screenings

How to support those living with diabetes:
• Learn the signs of high and low blood sugar
• Encourage healthy habits and regular medical care
• Be compassionate — diabetes management is a daily challenge

Together, we can raise awareness, support those affected, and take steps toward a healthier future.

Rural Medical would like to announce the winners of our Costume Contest from this year’s Fall Candy Trail!

Congratulations to our creative winners — Raggedy Ann, the Jellyfish, and the Blackjack Card Dealer! Each winner received 4 tickets to a Ripley’s Attraction of the Smokies!

Thank you again to everyone who came out and made the evening such a fun, family-filled success. We loved seeing all the amazing costumes and community support!

We had over 1,000 attendees and absolutely loved seeing our community come out and enjoy the fun! Your smiles and spirit made the day so special.
