We had a wonderful time at the “Little Hounds Big Helpers” event at Arkansas State University-Newport this morning!

The little helpers had so much fun stepping into the role of healthcare workers — performing “operations,” listening to each other’s hearts, and even giving medication to a baby. It was an exciting hands-on experience that sparked curiosity and inspired the next generation of caregivers.

The future of healthcare is bright, and we loved being part of an event that encourages young minds to explore the many rewarding paths in healthcare!

We loved having Newport High School students visit Unity Health Newport’s Physical Therapy department this week!

They had the chance to learn more about the role of physical therapy, what a career in the field looks like, and how our team helps patients heal and regain strength every day. They were such a great group, and we hope this experience sparked an interest in healthcare for some of them.

It’s always exciting to share what we do and invest in the future of our community. We would love to see some of these students return one day as healthcare professionals serving the people of our area!
