HHC is a Federally Qualified Health Center in rural central Maine with locations in Dexter, Newport, and a School Based Health Center for RSU 19, located at 291 Williams Road, Newport, ME. Our community health center provides a medical home for you and your family by offering medical, dental and behavioral health services complemented by our prescription assistance program, 340B prescription drug program and Care Coordination Team. HOMETOWN has a Sliding Fee Program for patients that are income eligible. No one will be denied access to services due to inability to pay; and there is a discounted/sliding fee schedule available based on family size and income. This health center receives HHS funding and has Federal Public Health Service (PHS) deemed status with respect to certain health or health-related claims, including medical malpractice claims, for itself and its covered individuals. Hometown Health Center offers free medical interpreting services for patients and family members with language and hearing needs. This service is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
