UPDATE to the PREVIOUS update … we don’t know about you, but we are tired of updating our update due to weather!
Newport Pediatrics will REMAIN 10-4 on Friday, February 6th. This will allow us time to make sure everyone can get to the office safely. As always, please exercise caution while driving, and if you can’t make your appointment, please give us a call to see how we can best help!
ALSO… if sometime last week, our office manager asked your child to go home and flush ice cubes to bring on the snow, please kindly ask your child to stop;)

Newport Pediatrics will be OPEN 12-4 on Tuesday, Feb 3rd. We will be contacting existing appts to schedule within that time, or move to another day if you cannot make it due to weather. If your child is sick and needs to be seen tomorrow, please call at noon for an appointment.
We understand that many roads are still treacherous, but that we have some children with acute illness that need to see a provider and we are trying to do our best to make sure our staff and our patients are well cared for. Please use caution when driving and stay safe and warm! Thank you !

For the safety of our patients, our providers, and staff, Newport Pediatrics will be CLOSED on Monday, February 2nd. We will reschedule everyone as soon as we can get back to the office.

As always, we have a provider on call for care related questions and advice. If you are calling for illness, and medication is needed, please have a plan ready to be able to pick those meds up. Please do not call for non-urgent medication refills or for over the counter medication.

As always, in an emergency, call 911.

Stay safe and warm and hopefully enjoy this beautiful snow with your kiddos!

Newport Pediatrics Saturday morning sick clinic will be CLOSED on Saturday, January 31, 2026 due to weather. As always, we have a provider on call. If you need care that cannot be provided by telehealth and can make it safely, please considered Sevierville ETCH Urgent Care or our local urgent care. Stay warm and safe!
