What's better than cooking and sharing a fabulous autumnal feast with friends?🥰 A bizillion thanks to our friend Beth Winthrop, nutrition expert and chef extraordinaire, for stopping by recently to talk about healthy menu choices and lead us in a hands-on culinary adventure involving delicious ratatouille, a scrumptious pomegranate dessert, and other surprises. 🍅We learned. We laughed. We chopped, stirred, and sauteed. We devoured! And we tasted lots of new things along the way. 😎 Beth, a faculty member at URI, brings extensive content knowledge and mad teaching skills - honed over a distinguished career in health care and education - to our RISSAKitchen project, which is generously funded by the John E. Fogarty Foundation.❤️ Bon appetit!!! 🥰

The celebrity sighting rumors are true! 🤩 If you happened to see Elvis, Taylor Swift, Cinderella and Prince Charming, and a few more traditionally spooky characters around town yesterday ... that was us! 😎 RISSA people celebrated Halloween by swinging by Derek Patsos' ever-popular Ghost Yard and stopping by to see our friends at the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center - then grabbed a quick lunch in all our finery. 🥰 Hope you had a boolicious Halloween too!!!🧡
