The Orleans Essex VNA & Hospice has provided skilled nursing home care and hospice since 1969. Over the years, physical, occupational and speech therapies, maternal/child health, post-surgical care and community wellness programs have been added, all provided in the comfort and safety of the client’s home. Home First Quality Care, our long term care division, provides Case Management, personal care attendants and homemakers allowing client’s the ability to stay in their homes when they need some assistance to do so.

11 years ago I started a new chapter in my life...so ever grateful for all who placed their confidence in me then and continue to do so now. I truly love what I do. I am also in appreciation of the Team who work along side f me providing health care in some of the most rural areas of our State.

First Year Firsts Bereavement Group meets today October 7th beginning at 3:00pm at the Agency. Our Chaplain Mickey Richards and Medical Social Worker Lisa Erwin host the monthly meeting. All are welcome and there is no cost to attend. Join us for coffee, tea and conversation.

On June 19th, our friend and colleague, Donna Laurin, MSW, passed away following her courageous battle with cancer. Anyone who had the privilege of knowing Donna loved her. She was compassionate, caring and always willing to go above and beyond for the patients she worked with and the staff who turned to her when in need.
Donna will be laid to rest Saturday, August 16 at 1:00 pm at the Glover's Westlook Cemetery followed by her
Celebration of Life from 2:30-6:00pm at Parker Pie, 161 County Road. Glover, VT.
From her children: "We invite you all to join us to celebrate the beautiful and inspiring life of our mom. Come share your memories and stories as we remember Donna for the truly special woman she was. We look forward to seeing everyone!"

From all us at OEVNA - Donna you will always be in our hearts and memories. We miss your warm contagious smile and presence in our lives. Our deepest condolences to her family and friends. ❤️

This week we celebrated our LNAs and PCAs during CNA Week 2025. All these acronyms mean we got together to say THANKS to our Home Health and Long Term Care Aides. These amazing ladies provide assistance with activities of daily living to our patients who need them. We are very grateful for all they do.
THANK YOU Abby, LNA, Chelsea, LNA, Tammy, PCA, Laurel, LNA, Jene, LNA, Rachel, PCA, Kathy, LNA and Laura, PCA. Ashley, PCA is missing from the picture. YOU LADIES ROCK!
