We are trying to save some availability over the next few days to help with storm problems that need immediate attention. In the days to come our call volume will go from 5 a day to 25 a day. We began working on customers snow and ice related problems before dawn Saturday morning. After 6 long days, this afternoon we were finally able to take a breath and clear the snow from our own lot.

We would like to tell you about some of our workers that we are very proud of. Samuel Claassen (center) has worked for Railer Services since our beginning. Sam enlisted in the National Guard before graduating from NHS in 2021, and despite boot camp as well as 2 assignments overseas, he will be graduating from Tabor College this year on the same 4 year schedule as his classmates. Yesterday 2 more of our workers, Manuel Garcia (left) and Logan Buchanan (right) enlisted in the National Guard as well, making a 6 year commitment to our country.

All 3 of these young men continue to work in our community and mentor our younger workers as members of the Railer Services team.

We would like to thank them all for their service to our country, and their continued dedication to our local community through Railer Services.

One of the best parts of the holidays is having some Railer Services veterans return to our workforce. These are just a few of theNHS students who have continued to work with us after graduating. Some work for us full time, some part time while attending college locally, and some are home from school for the holidays.

All of them are wonderful young men with great futures, who enjoy working out in our community and mentoring the NHS students that are following in their footsteps at Railer Services.

We are proud of all of them.

Happy Thanksgiving from Railer Services. We have been working on moving into our new location at the corner of Meridian and West 1st street, across from Casey’s. We have been extremely busy and unfortunately the weather has impacted our schedule. We appreciate the support we receive from our community and the patience of our customers as we reel in our waiting list of projects.
Property clean outs are our specialty, but we offer a long list of services which can be found on our page or at railerservices.com.

Today we are happy to have a crew working with one of our favorite customers, USD 373 Newton School District. Our team is working with their facilities staff to set up the venue for the upcoming graduation ceremonies, and tomorrow we will be there until midnight taking it all back down.

Some people get the misconception that Railer Services is operated by the school district, but we are in fact a stand alone business. Our mission is to provide jobs to students and donate proceeds to school activities, but as a separate business we have the resources to acquire the necessary tools and equipment, as well as employ an experienced staff to not only oversee our student workers but to operate during regular business hours.

We are proud to have USD 373 as one of our customers, as well as many other local businesses and organizations.

We supply labor for many different types of projects, but our specialty is property clean out and clean up.

For the past week we have been helping ExCat Construction move their headquarters from South Pine street to their new location on 6th street in the old Newton Kansan building. I’m sure Jordan and his team will preserve and improve this Newton landmark like they have so many other buildings.

Yesterday we were pleased to help the Harvey County Health Department relocate from the 2nd to 3rd floor of their facility on South Pine in preparation for their upcoming renovation project. 10 of our workers had everything moved by mid afternoon. After the work is completed in a few months we will return to move things back into their redecorated space. Thank You for your support!
