The Newton-Wellesley Hospital Maternity Council invites providers and community members to a special screening of More Than Blue, a documentary sharing the real stories of women navigating postpartum depression and perinatal mental health challenges.

The evening will include a post-screening panel discussion led by Dr. Lee S. Cohen, Executive Producer of the film and Director of the Ammon-Pinizzotto Center for Women’s Mental Health at Massachusetts General Hospital.

As part of an ongoing initiative, this week, our Heart Health & Wellness Council partnered with Needham firefighters to focus on nutrition, exercise and relaxation.

Firefighters face significantly higher risks of heart disease due to the intense physical and emotional demands of their work, making cardiovascular health awareness especially critical.
We’re proud to stand alongside our first responders in promoting heart-healthy habits and lifelong wellness. 🚒💪
