Start the off right ✅ Become a Hospice volunteer!

Carolina Caring is offering new and interested volunteers a free training session, where they will learn about:
▪️Hospice Volunteer Requirements
▪️Volunteer Opportunities
▪️Special Volunteer Programs

Volunteers do not provide hands-on care, but they can contribute to activities that offer practical and emotional support to those receiving hospice care.

Join us on Saturday, January 31st, 2026 from 9:00am-2:00pm at Carolina Caring's office on 2240 Remount Road, Gastonia, NC. Lunch will be provided on the day of the training.

This year, our “Caring for Our Community” initiative has fostered compassion, connection, and purpose beyond the bedside. It reflects our commitment to whole-person care, ensuring that patients and families can maintain or improve their quality of life.

In total, Carolina Caring staff members:
Contributed over 550 hours of paid company time in community service
Completed over 15 projects with partners
Wrote over 100 Thank-You Cards to our nation’s , sharing inspiring notes of hope
