Carolina Caring is offering new and interested volunteers a free training session, where they will learn about:
▪️Hospice Volunteer Requirements
▪️Volunteer Opportunities
▪️Special Volunteer Programs

Volunteers do not provide hands-on care, but they can contribute to activities that offer practical and emotional support to those receiving hospice care.

Join us on Saturday, January 31st, 2026 from 9:00am-2:00pm at Carolina Caring's office on 2240 Remount Road, Gastonia, NC. Lunch will be provided on the day of the training.

This year, our “Caring for Our Community” initiative has fostered compassion, connection, and purpose beyond the bedside. It reflects our commitment to whole-person care, ensuring that patients and families can maintain or improve their quality of life.

In total, Carolina Caring staff members:
Contributed over 550 hours of paid company time in community service
Completed over 15 projects with partners
Wrote over 100 Thank-You Cards to our nation’s , sharing inspiring notes of hope

Authentic actions took center stage at The Chamber of Catawba County's 20th Annual Women's Leadership Conference!

Various leaders at Carolina Caring enjoyed connecting with conference participants and hearing key messages on fearless , elevating our leadership , and the importance of future-focused, caregiver-supportive workplace cultures.

Carolina Caring Director of Community Engagement Amanda Buck was recognized with the 2025 Community Impact Award from the Foundation!

In addition to sharing resources and service lines at this year's Concrete Rose Breast Cancer Awareness Gala, Amanda has connected breast cancer organizations across the region as they work together in support of their patients' unique cancer journeys.

Let's celebrate an award-winning Culture of Caring!

On November 20th, 2025, Carolina Caring was recognized with three major awards at the annual Carolinas Healthcare Public Relations & Marketing Society conference: two for Web Design and Photography AND our first-ever Golden Tusk Award for our mission-driven campaign, "Culture of Caring”.

The establishes the ways we Care for Each Other, Our Patients, and Our Community by focusing on what matters. It ensures that every patient and family feels valued as they face the journey.
