Dr. Perrone performed the first ultra-minimally invasive uniportal endoscopic lumbar disc surgery at the New England Surgical Suites in Natick. Through an incision less than a centimeter in length, Dr. Perrone removed a herniated disc that had been causing three months of worsening severe back and leg pain. The patient went home immediately after, with release to unrestricted physical activity in less than three days.
