One side worked… one side untouched 👀

This photo was taken during a session, after I had worked only one side of the back.

You’ll notice the difference in color—that’s from increased circulation and the muscles beginning to release on the side that’s been worked.

Now, a little context matters here 👇
This client did have some mild sun exposure, which can make the skin appear more reactive than usual. Because of that, I adjusted pressure and technique to keep everything safe and comfortable.

That’s the thing about massage—
It’s not one-size-fits-all.

Every session is customized based on:
✨ Your body
✨ Your tension patterns
✨ Even your skin condition that day

By the end of the session, both sides were balanced, relaxed, and moving much better 🙌

🌿 Exciting news at Refuah 14 Massage & Bodywork! 🌿

I’m happy to share that Kristi, a licensed massage therapist, has joined Refuah 14 to help serve our wonderful clients.

As many of you know, I’ve been incredibly busy and working long hours, so bringing another experienced therapist into the space allows us to offer more availability while continuing to provide the peaceful, healing environment you love.

Kristi will be helping with weekend appointments, giving more opportunities for those who have been trying to get in.

I’m so grateful for how Refuah continues to grow and for the amazing community that supports this space.

It’s hard to believe it’s already been one full year in my Refuah 14 space 🩶

Finding this location truly felt like an answered prayer in a season when I needed it most. I’m so incredibly grateful to my landlord and his family — they’ve been such genuine support to me throughout this first year of building Refuah.

A heartfelt thank you as well to Cockerham Multi Service for helping me move in and begin this chapter — that day marked the start of something so special.

And of course… to every single client and supporter who has chosen Refuah — thank you for trusting me, supporting a small business, and allowing this healing space to grow ✨

Year one in this sacred space has been filled with so much gratitude.
