Impact Story Time!

Kayla Ayres, who is Newton Outpatient Office Admin, also serves at the Person Centered Case Manager for the local Harvey County Recovery Court. In her role and partnership with the Recovery Court, Kayla is able to walk alongside those in the program, connecting them to resources and providing a safe space for recovery. As evidence of her unique impact, she was able to put together a diaper cake for an expecting mother going through Recovery Court.

Thank you, Kayla, for going above and beyond to change lives and cultivate hope with your work!

Nothing like a chilly, windy day to bring out the employee spirit in all of our facilities! Today was the last Employee Spirit Day this month and staff celebrated by rocking their Mirror merch. We love seeing our staff proud of the incredible work that they do all over Kansas.

Our leadership staff from our Wichita Residential Reentry Center hosted a Mirror booth at the McConnell Air Force Base Career Fair yesterday. With so many in attendance, some great conversations and connections were made throughout the Wichita area!

It's about time for a Mirror Monday!

A client shared a bit about their recovery story and the impact that Mirror had on their lives. Getting rid of baggage and building a new house is such a good visual to show that recovery is a process of long-term change. Not only that, but we are all about helping clients take their first step on that process toward a new life.

They say that imitation is the more sincere form of flattery, right? Today was our third Employee Spirit Day this month and we encouraged our staff to dress like their boss! A few brave souls stepped out and were willing to participate - even dressing up as their boss at their previous job. We appreciate all of our staff and the incredible leaders we have in our company!

It's Week 2 of Staff Spirit Month! This week's theme was "Dynamic Duo", we asked our staff to grab a friend or two and dress up as twins or their favorite pair! We got several food items and even some famous characters!

Mirror is pleased to announce the promotion of Nick Casarona to Vice President of Treatment Operations! Casarona joined the organization in 2023 as Program Director over Mirror’s Topeka Residential and Outpatient facilities. While overseeing Topeka, he expanded Mirror’s treatment services back into Lawrence, strengthened peer support projects, and established Mirror’s first Alumni Association.
