Last week, we were happy to welcome students from the UNC School of Dentistry in Chapel Hill to Covenant Place for an informative presentation on Geriatric Dental Care. 🦷✨

The three dental students shared helpful tips on managing oral health as we age, including addressing dry mouth, tooth decay, periodontal disease, tooth loss, and caring for dental prosthetics. They also covered the importance of prevention—regular checkups, reducing plaque buildup, maintaining a healthy diet, and staying well hydrated.

The presentation wrapped up with a fun, interactive oral health game that kept residents engaged and smiling! Coffee and pastries were enjoyed by all in attendance ☕🥐

5️⃣ While we were enjoying our team-building retreat this week, we took the opportunity to celebrate the 5-year work anniversary of Kim Kilday, EveryAge's chief marketing officer. 🎊

During her tenure, Kim has been heavily involved in rebranding efforts, advancing digital marketing strategies and technology implementation, promoting storytelling, introducing new acquisitions and communities, and incorporating analytics and reporting to drive revenue and results. Yesterday, the EveryAge Home Office enjoyed a much-anticipated afternoon of teambuilding, fellowship, and fun! 🎉

🎾 We gathered at The Serve Pickleball + Kitchen in Cornelius for lunch and conversation, followed by friendly competition in the cutting-edge simulator bays, where we tested our mettle in virtual golf, soccer, football, darts, skee-ball, zombie dodgeball, and much more! ⚽️ 🏈

We had a blast stepping away from our desks and relishing each other's company away from meetings and projects. The entire experience was top-notch, from food to playtime to service, and we're grateful to have incredible leaders who see the value not only in productivity and accomplishment but in relationships and joy too! 🫶

Our keynote speaker, Chris Ridenhour, challenged us to rethink the essence of growth leadership and to reflect on the meaningful difference between managing work and inspiring people.
