5️⃣ While we were enjoying our team-building retreat this week, we took the opportunity to celebrate the 5-year work anniversary of Kim Kilday, EveryAge's chief marketing officer. 🎊

During her tenure, Kim has been heavily involved in rebranding efforts, advancing digital marketing strategies and technology implementation, promoting storytelling, introducing new acquisitions and communities, and incorporating analytics and reporting to drive revenue and results. And always with a ready smile and an unflappable demeanor! 💯

Yesterday, the EveryAge Home Office enjoyed a much-anticipated afternoon of teambuilding, fellowship, and fun! 🎉

🎾 We gathered at The Serve Pickleball + Kitchen in Cornelius for lunch and conversation, followed by friendly competition in the cutting-edge simulator bays, where we tested our mettle in virtual golf, soccer, football, darts, skee-ball, zombie dodgeball, and much more! ⚽️ 🏈

We had a blast stepping away from our desks and relishing each other's company away from meetings and projects. The entire experience was top-notch, from food to playtime to service, and we're grateful to have incredible leaders who see the value not only in productivity and accomplishment but in relationships and joy too! 🫶

Our keynote speaker, Chris Ridenhour, challenged us to rethink the essence of growth leadership and to reflect on the meaningful difference between managing work and inspiring people. 🌎 World Hearing Day takes place each year on March 3. To coincide with the observance, Sydney Carden with Beltone Hearing Centers in Albemarle, NC, came out and provided free hearing screenings for our residents at Matthew's Place.

👂🏽She also shared helpful information about hearing health and answered questions from attendees, which they sincerely appreciated. Since hearing loss is a risk factor for cognitive decline and social isolation, it's especially important to get regular evaluations. 🔉
