There are so many reasons a bedroom can fall into disarray - illness, a move, or even the loss of a loved one. In this home, all three played a role. Our client had a vision for how they wanted their space to feel again, and we were honored to help bring that vision to life.

Supporting clients through challenging seasons is one of the most meaningful parts of what we do. 💛

Keeping your spice cabinet and canned-goods pantry in top shape doesn’t just make cooking easier - it keeps your kitchen safer and more efficient. We recommend giving these spaces a full refresh every 3–6 months. During your check-in, look for expired items, duplicates, stale spices, and anything you haven’t reached for in a long time.

For organization that lasts, group items by category (baking, oils, spices, canned vegetables, sauces), use turntables for small jars, and opt for tiered shelves so nothing gets lost in the back. Clear bins and consistent labeling help maintain order and ensure you always know what you have on hand.

A little structure goes a long way in creating a kitchen that works with you, not against you. 🥫

This weekend, Annie, our social media manager, tackled a personal organization project that had been on her mind for weeks: her towel shelf. It had become a chaotic mix of bath towels, dish towels, and even some mesh laundry bags. Every time she reached for a dish towel, the whole shelf would collapse, leaving her to shove everything back in - and the visual clutter was stressful!

Using fabric storage bins she found on Amazon, Annie was able to sort everything by category, making it easy to find exactly what she needs, when she needs it. Disorganization may seem small, but for someone who loves order, one messy area can create a surprising amount of stress. Now, her towel shelf is calm, functional, and fully optimized, proving that a little organization can bring a big sense of relief.

With spring in full swing, garages become one of the most impactful spaces to reset. A thoughtful system can transform your garage from cluttered storage into functional square footage, whether that means room for hobbies, easy access to equipment, or simply a stress-free entry into your home. Getting ahead of the warm weather makes the process that much easier. 🌷

Not all shoe storage has to look the same, and that’s the beauty of organizing ✨

For this project, we focused heavily on decluttering because the space was being prepared for a move. By clearing out what was no longer needed, we were able to maximize every inch with a combination of cubbies, open shelving, and hanging storage. The result? Shoes are visible, accessible, and actually stay organized.

Here are a few ways to rethink your own setup:

👟 Use cubbies for everyday shoes to keep pairs together and easy to grab

🩴 Reserve lower shelves for flats, sandals, and slip-ons

👠 Store bulkier or less-used shoes up top or in baskets

🧺 Incorporate bins for seasonal swaps or overflow

👚 Pair shoe storage with nearby hanging space to create a functional “get ready” zone

There’s no one-size-fits-all solution - just the one that works best for your space and lifestyle!

This desk is for one person to work from home, but being in a shared space, it had become a family catch-all. 📄

Papers kept piling up because filing systems for work and personal items were started…. but never finished.

Now, every family member’s items have a proper home, and the filing systems are complete. ✅ The desk is clear, organized, and ready for focused work again! ✨

Another bookshelf, another proud moment. 📚

After tackling her daughter’s bookshelf, Joelle shared that her son was inspired to go through his collection as well. With his chapter book library growing quickly, it felt like the right time to take a look at what he’s been holding onto.

He thoughtfully chose a few books to pass along, making space for the new stories he’s excited to read next. His chapter book collection is expanding so much that a bigger bookshelf may be in his future soon.

Joelle and her husband certainly prefer their kids spending time with books over time on iPads or watching TV. Seeing kids take ownership of their spaces while growing their love of reading is a win all around. 📖✨

A small project with a big win. 📚

Joelle recently shared a moment from home that felt worth celebrating. Her daughter’s bookshelf had been needing a refresh for quite some time, but with busy weeks and full weekends, it kept getting pushed aside. When they finally found a slow morning with nothing planned, they decided it was the perfect chance to go through it together.

In the past, letting go of things has been tough for her daughter, who is very sentimental. But over time, Joelle has been helping her practice sorting through toys and belongings, and the progress has been incredible to watch.

As they reviewed the books, her daughter thoughtfully chose several to pass along, mentioning that she liked the idea of another child getting the chance to read them. The best part? No stress, no tears, just confident decisions and a growing sense of generosity!

Joelle was so proud of her daughter’s decision to donate some of her books. We love seeing how organizing can help kids build confidence, decision-making skills, and compassion for others. 💛

Mornings run smoother when your space works with you, not against you. ✨

The vanity is often overlooked when we think about home organization systems, yet it’s a space where most of us spend a significant chunk of our day. Between skincare, makeup, and hair, those minutes add up (and if you’re digging through a messy drawer, that’s time and energy wasted before the day even begins!)

For this setup, the goal was simple: create a place where everything needed to get ready has a clear home. By grouping daily essentials, using drawers and trays for smaller items, and keeping the surface intentionally minimal, this space now supports a calm, efficient morning routine instead of adding to the chaos.

An organized vanity isn’t just about aesthetics, it creates structure for the start of your day. When you know exactly where everything is, getting ready becomes quicker, easier, and far more enjoyable.

A small system can make a big difference in how your mornings feel.
