Visiting Nurse Association of Newtown Thrift Shop The VNA Thrift Shop is open every Saturday, 9AM-12PM. 45 Main St, Newtown CT. We raise funds by running a Thrift Shop behind the Edmond Town Hall.

We are a service organization that provides funds for flu shots and other services that a Newtown resident could not afford, scholarships for graduating Newtown resident seniors who are entering the medical field, blood pressure screenings at the Newtown Senior Center, eye screenings at our local pre-schools (along with the Newtown Lions who provide the pedia-spot machine) to name a few things. We no longer have a medical Loan Closet.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. On Saturday October 18, ALL the proceeds from the sales at the thrift shop will benefit the Norma Pfriem Breast Center at Yale . ALL of us have been touched by cancer in one way or another. Let's help our community members beat this beast.

Join us in October! Pink Pledge is a month long, community wide, awareness and fundraising campaign to benefit Norma Pfriem Breast Center.
