🍎🍂 Fall Fun with Apples and more! 🍂🍎

We’ve been celebrating the tastes of the season with some sweet (and tart!) fall festivities!

In Memory Care, we hosted a cozy Fall Apple Social, complete with warm cinnamon apples, apple cider punch, cornbread with apple butter, and more delicious apple treats. There’s nothing like sharing a warm bite and a smile to welcome fall!

Over in Personal Care, residents took part in a fun and flavorful apple tasting — sampling different varieties and chatting about their favorites. And lots of fun fall crafts with staff and volunteers!

From a Poke-a-Pumpkin game full of surprises to a festive photo booth and delicious Halloween treats (including crunchy, perfectly roasted pumpkin seeds!) — the smiles were everywhere. 😊🍬🍁 Can't wait to see what tomorrow will bring!!!!

What a milestone - 100 Years! 🎂💖

Our incredible Pam recently turned 100—and she proved once again she’s the life of every party! Channel 6 even came by to share in the fun. There was music, dancing, sweet treats, and so much love in the air.

Huge thanks to Serenity Hospice, our Dining, Life Enrichment, and Supportive Living team, and all who stopped in to make Pam’s day extra special.

🌟 The Pickering Manor Auxiliary has been keeping busy! In August, they hosted their Annual Resident Picnic — a lovely afternoon enjoyed by Independent Living and Supportive Living. In September, they followed up with a terrific Cocktail Party, raising funds to support the Auxiliary’s mission and the many ways they give back to our residents and community.

We are so grateful for the heart and dedication the Auxiliary brings to Pickering Manor. 💖
