Always having fun in Personal Care 🍕🍺

We’ve started a new Pizza & Beer Tuesday social--bringing residents together to enjoy good food and even better company.

We also celebrated Phillies Opening Day with soft pretzels and plenty of team spirit ⚾🥨

There’s always something happening--from a lively game of bingo to peaceful moments spent soaking up the sunshine on our beautiful patio ☀️🌿

It’s all about creating simple moments that bring people together and make each day feel a little brighter.

🌴A little sunshine in March🌴

Our team brought the Aloha spirit to Pickering Manor with a fun day full of bright colors, tropical treats, and a well-deserved break together.

There were giveaways, plenty of laughs, and even a chance to try our Director of Employee Service’s now not-so-secret slushie recipe—which was a hit!

And if you notice someone popping up in the photos…you’re not imagining things 👀

Dum Dum —our Night at the Museum-inspired SCORE mascot—was spotted everywhere, keeping things light and adding a little extra fun to the day.

Just one of those days that brought people together and brightened up the week 💙💚

A few of our Supportive Living residents enjoyed a visit to the Poor Clares of the Franciscan Monastery, taking in the peaceful setting, gardens, and time spent together outside of their everyday routine.

A gentle, refreshing experience filled with connection, calm, and shared smiles.

Last week, residents and members of the greater community gathered for our latest Pickering Cafe, centered on resilience in honor of Women’s History Month.

We were honored to welcome psychologist and award-winning author Dr. Lise Deguire, who shared not only her professional insights, but her own deeply personal story of resilience--one that was both moving and incredibly inspiring.

You could feel it in the room… moments of reflection, quiet understanding, and meaningful conversation that stayed with people long after the presentation ended.

At Pickering Manor, Pickering Cafe is about more than just a talk--it’s about bringing people together in a space where stories are shared, connections are made, and inspiration is found.
