Calling all bakers, it is that time of year again!

SAVE THE DATE!

The Council for Older Adults is sponsoring a FREE health fair at The Dale Association on Friday November 14th from 10am - 1pm.

Local seniors will have a chance to meet with vendors from varying agencies, local police and firefighters, plus complimentary health screenings for blood pressure and hearing.

Staff got their first in-person glimpse of the amazing transformation of the intersection outside our offices. Hat tip to the Niagara Falls National Heritage Area for continually making our community better, brighter, and safter for us all! This is such a welcomed addition to our neighborhood.

Mark your calendars! 🗓️ Join us at the St. John de LaSalle Community Care Health & Info Fair on Friday, October 10, 2025, from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM at St. John de LaSalle (8600 Buffalo Ave., Niagara Falls, NY 14304).
We are dedicated to the well-being of our community, and as part of the fair, we'll be providing FREE Opioid Overdose Prevention Training (Naloxone/Narcan)! This vital training will equip you with the skills to recognize and confidently respond to an opioid overdose. Best of all, all participants will be eligible to take home their own naloxone kit upon completion of the training. Knowledge is power, and we want to empower you to save a life.
We will also be giving out baby bundles and medication deactivation pouches drug deactivation pouches! Finally, this is a great opportunity to meet our welcoming staff and learn all about the valuable programs and services we offer. Come say hello, get informed, and let's work together for a healthier, safer Niagara County!

The Council for Older Adults has a few spots left for their fall trip to picturesque Ellicottville, NY on October 16th.

We took time today to recognize our amazing colleague, Marsha Winkfield, on 41 years of service at HANCI. With no signs of slowing down, Marsha has been the driving force behind our home healthcare team, assuring that our community’s seniors have the in-home help they need.
