PERMANENT PRACTICE CLOSURE EFFECTIVE 26 MAY 2023
Dear Beloved Patients and Family,
I deeply regret to inform you of the decision to close our practice as of 26 May 2023.
The last three years have been very difficult for our practice. The dramatic increase in overhead to maintain the practice have been met with decreasing reimbursements. It has led to an unsustainable business model for the Mitchell Family.
Additionally personal family losses and health have taken their toll on our solo practice.
We love being able to spend time with patients and get to the heart of their medical issue and problems. The way of the solo practice insurance-based model has been failing in our area over the last five to six years. Unfortunately, we are no exception to the other 11 practices that have either closed or had to pursue a different model of care delivery.
We will still be a part of the Niceville Community and hope to be able to continue to consider you all friends and family.
