Happy Spiritual Care Week! Our Chaplain Tyler is a ray of light! We are so grateful for the ways he intentionally pours into our residents, families and team members - always doing so with a gentle compassion. Thank you Chaplain Tyler from all of us at Bridgepointe at Ashgrove Woods!

In recognition of national Spiritual Care Week, we celebrate and honor our Christian Care Chaplains. These remarkable individuals work hard daily, caring for our residents, staff, and families' spiritual, physical, and emotional needs in the tradition of Faith - Care - Family. They come alongside us during hardship and celebrate the victories, big and small, in the lives of the Christian Care Family. If you know a Chaplain or a spiritual care leader in your community, take the opportunity to thank them and serve them this week!

It is National Bosses Day and at Bridgepointe at Ashgrove Woods, we have the very best! Our Executive Director, Denise Caton, has been with Bridgepointe for eleven years!

Denise is a mother of 3 girls, she has 3 grandchildren and 4 bonus grandchildren. Denise has been in healthcare since 1993, right after graduating high school. She’s been a nurse for almost 26 years and just recently received her Bachelor’s in Health Administration, as well as obtaining her Nursing Home Administration license.
Denise first came to Bridgepointe starting out as a floor nurse, then she took over SDC/scheduling for a while, as well as taking over as Director of Nursing and for the last 5 years, she has fulfilled the Executive Director position.

She loves Christian Care Communties, her elders and her staff!

Thank you to everyone who donated candy, baked goods and their time to help make our annual Fall Festival a special experience this year! Our residents absolutely loved seeing everyone in their costumes!

Congratulations to Barbie Cowgirl for being the winner of the Costume Contest!

Also congratulations are in order for Amy Silvanik, for guessing correctly on the number of cheeseballs and candy corns we had in the two jars! Enjoy them Amy!

We hope everyone enjoyed the cake walk, games and face painting on this beautiful fall day! 🍁 🎃

Michael and Tucker each won a gift card playing Hot Potato!

Today was crazy hat day to continue on the fun! Dominic, Tyler, Michael, April and Ashley wore their craziest!

Wednesday we had a staff potluck and brought in all kinds of different foods to keep celebrating our amazing dietary staff!

Krispy Kreme donuts were brought in for breakfast.
Fried chicken, meatballs, lil smokies, rolls, mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, hashbrown casserole, pasta salad, ambrosia salad, chips and dips and several choices of desserts were on our potluck menu. Thank you to all who brought something in to help celebrate!

Tuesday was all fun and games for our dietary staff as they enjoyed a table setting relay game. Alaysia and Caleb competed against Dominic and Michael, the winners of that game was Dominic and Michael.

We played two truths and a lie and Dietary Manager, Leonard got the most guesses right and won that game.

Food trivia was another game & Lynn, won the gift card for that game.

Last but not least was a blindfolded candy tasting challenge, in which each player had to guess what candy they were eating. Alaysia was the winner of the gift card for that game.
