The day began with invigorating stretches and exercises, after which we concluded our winter cleanup and transitioned to summer preparations. A delectable lunch was crafted by Conner and Rachel, consisting of grilled seasoned pork chops, sweet potatoes, and green beans. Our Monday bingo session is always welcomed with Robyn calling. Wednesday brought another beautiful day, which we savored while enjoying each other's company outside. Conner successfully took charge of the grill, preparing delicious chicken that paired perfectly with roasted baby red potatoes and asparagus. In the spirit of giving back, Hills Crossing extended its gratitude to the community by visiting Lakes Area Food, where we donated a considerable amount of food and presented them with a check.

The first day of spring has brought a flurry of activity. Luke and the students paid a visit, during which we solved riddles. Conner and Diane's culinary efforts resulted in a delicious chicken tortellini, accompanied by vegetables and warm rolls. Renee and friends subsequently arrived, treating us to music and a sing-along session. With the sun shining brightly, everyone has flocked outdoors to bask in the warmth of the season's first day

I took the opportunity to create a snowman outside the window for the residents on this lovely Wednesday. Rachel and Conner went ahead and made a tasty creamy wild rice soup served with garlic bread sticks. Later on, some of us decided to make rainbows to bring some spring cheer.

Happy Monday Everyone!!! We had a productive morning with exercise and a sizable crowd today. Rachel and Conner provided homemade Chili served with cornbread which was well-suited for the cold weather. Robyn arrived and led a game of bingo where Pat had an extraordinary winning streak. Ember had a full day of lots of cuddles, and our friend Jerry stopped in to say hi and enjoyed having lunch with his friends!!!

It was a delightful Wednesday. During the morning session, a balloon game was played. Rachel and Conner prepared an outstanding Lasagna lunch, accompanied by garlic toast and a salad. We were joined by Brad from Crosby for his monthly visit, during which he entertained us with guitar playing and singing. The afternoon was filled with enjoyable games.
