There are many different styles of Qigong.
This is the style that I have learned integrative, slower, meditative movement combined with breath.
For me, by the time class is over I feel grounded and calm throughout my body.
I can move a little better, I feel a little lighter and my mood has shifted.
Follow along if you like. This flow includes the first four poses of Ji Ben Gong. There are 8 foundational flows.
You’re welcome to play some relaxing music in the background. I usually do during class.

Thai massage is not all about the pretzel-stretching. There is some quite beautiful relaxation that comes from the slow deep compressions and holds.
It’s really about listening to the body. Relaxing the muscles and then following up with gentle stretching when necessary.
It’s all therapeutic work that calms the nervous system and helps the body connect with its spatial awareness.
It’s teaching the body how to let go of deep tension that it’s been holding onto.

Qigong is a beautiful movement meditation that helps us connect our mind and body with breath.
This flow is an example of taking control of the things that are causing us stress and returning to a safe quiet place. “Taming the Tiger” so to speak.
Come learn more this Sunday, as I teach you this and add in the 3 Treasures flow that helps us respect connection we have to Earth, Nature, and Heaven.
