OTC Richwood Valley Academic Learning Center

The Academic Learning Center (ALC) provides quality assistance for all students attending Ozarks Tech. A valid form of photo I.D.

The ALC focuses on students and assists with their academic needs such as: Coaching/Tutoring, Proctored Exams, Library & Disability Support Services. The Academic Learning Center provides assistance to the students and faculty at OTC Richwood Valley Campus in a variety of ways. Below you will find a description of the different departments within the Academic Learning Center. For more information on each department, please click on the link to their Web Pages on the OTC Web Site listed below each description. Tutoring: We offer free tutoring to students enrolled in online and seated courses in subjects varying from math, chemistry, biology, CIS, and writing assistance. Tutoring is on a walk-in basis and is also available online via Zoom. You can find tutor schedules and a list of available subjects at this link: https://richwoodvalley.otc.edu/alc/tutoring/. Library: The Library offers 1-on-1 research assistance, online resources, print and audio/visual materials, study spaces, and other materials and services to meet the academic needs of students and faculty. Testing: We provide testing services for students who need to take exams in a proctored environment. is required and exams are appointment based. April is Autism Awareness month! 🧩💙 This year's theme is , which, according to the United Nations, "highlights and affirms the dignity and worth of all autistic people as part of our shared human future." It's a "call to action to move beyond limiting narratives and recognize the inherent dignity, equal rights, and unconditional worth of every autistic person."

Don’t forget — proctored testing is by appointment only 📅✨ Be sure to sign up and schedule your test through RegisterBlast! It's as easy as 1, 2, 3!

1. 📘 Go into your Canvas course then click the RegisterBlast button in the course menu.
2. 🔗 Select the exam you need to schedule.
3. 📝 Follow the prompts to sign up for your exam.
