I know the month of February is almost over, but it is never too late to start getting healthy!
February is National Cancer Prevention Month — and while we can’t control everything, we can support our bodies in powerful ways.

I just received an awesome testimonial from my client on our 6-week Wellness Reset. Thank you, Sara!

I did the 6-week reset with Beverly, and it really helped me to make lasting changes knowing that I had someone in my corner to cheer me on and keep me accountable. Coming to ya from Gulf Shores, AL. It is 55 degrees cloudy here this morning to get up to 66 today. However, at home I see that it is snowing and cold! We are supposed to get some storms move in here and then to get some of that cold weather starting late tomorrow night.
I haven't posted for a while, so I thought I had better jump on before I go exercise.
I wanted to talk about balancing hormones. Weight loss is a hormonal game!
Not understanding hormones at any age and how appetite, cravings, fat storage and burning, energy levels, sleep quality, stress response they are dependent on balancing hormones.
Balanced hormones create an environment for body to release weight naturally while imbalanced hormones fight against it.
When hormones are balanced, we can effectively use fat for fuel, balance hunger signals, lose weight, energy and mood are stable, and reduce belly fat.
Balanced hormones are with lifestyle factors, nutrition, and habits.
Start with one habit at a time. Let your brain adapt before adding more. Focus on actions that gets results. Then layer habits each new habit builds on previous one. Rewire your brain through repetition new neural pathways need time to strengthen.
Success comes from making healthy choices easier, not from forcing dramatic overnight changes.

I have seen alot of detox teas on the market. Some can disrupt your digestion. The body is able to detox itself inside our liver and kidneys. The best thing we can do is a clean balanced nutrition, lots of water, regular physical exercise, sleep, limited alcohol, processed foods and sugar.

Drinking water is important for blood sugar control. Most people know that water is healthy, but they don't realize it directly affects blood sugar, energy, and cravings.
When you are dehydrated, your body can't clear out extra glucose/sugar. Drinking enough water helps your kidneys flush out excess sugar so blood sugar stays more stable.
Low hydration triggers, stress hormones, like cortisol. Cortisol raises blood sugar, even if you haven't eaten. This leads to cravings, energy crashes, stubborn belly fat.
Many people think they are hunger when they are actually dehydrated. Drinking water before and between meals helps control appetite, reduces emotional and mindless snacking, and supports a calorie deficit without feeling deprived.
Water helps fiber do its job by slowing down digestion, sugar absorption, and it improves fullness and gut balance. This prevents sharp glucose/sugar spikes after meals.
Water helps your liver metabolize fat more efficiently. Dehydration slows fat burning and increases cravings for fast energy foods.
How much water should you drink?
Half of your bodyweight in ounces per day.
Extra water needed if exercising, consuming caffeine, hot weather, and eating a high protein or high fiber diet.
Drink a glass of water before every meal. Add lemon or fruit for flavor, keep a glass of water or water bottle close by all day to remind you to drink, and set reminders on your phone to drink.
