It is time for the Annual Suburban North Club Soup'r Bowl - what are you going to bring? Each year a group of elite cooks gather at SNC during the NFL Super Bowl to share in some soup and fellowship and we hope you will join us this year!

Sunday, Feb 8: Plug in your crock pot at 6:15 PM, and then get ready to watch the game.

Bring your best soup or chili - whatever you think will be a touchdown. Winners are awarded bragging rights! The Club will provide the chili fixings - cheese, jalapeños, sour cream, etc. We will have the game on a big TV in one of the meeting rooms. (The Club will stay open late, until the game ends.)

All are welcome - feel free to bring some chips or something else if you don't feel like cooking. We just hope you will join in!!

Any decision to close on Sunday, January 25th, 2026, will be based on these factors.

Updates will be shared as conditions develop.

Reminder of today's bylaws meeting

Attention Active Club Members

The last time our bylaws were updated was 2019. The Bylaws Committee met several times in the past year to prepare proposed changes to the SNC bylaws. Those proposals are available in the office and were emailed out to you earlier this month for review. Voting has begun, and it ends January 16 at 5 pm.

We invite you to join us for an open discussion of the proposed changes. We will gather in Gatehouse and we will have Google Meet as way to join the discussion.

It’s that exciting time again—our Board of Directors election season is here!

We’re looking for three passionate leaders to join our Board for a 3‑year term of service. This is your chance to help guide our mission, strengthen our community, and keep our nonprofit thriving.

Here’s how it works:

SNC members may nominate a candidate (including yourself!) using the QR Code below or this link: https://forms.gle/sHcVAcGWB85NHYMx6

The Election Committee will take care of the details— gatherin bios, candidate profiles, and setting up the voting process.

Nominations must be submitted by December 7 so we can launch the candidate website and get ready for voting.

Serving on the Board is more than a role—it’s a service opportunity to make a lasting impact. Whether you know someone with vision, dedication, and heart, or you’re ready to step up yourself, now’s the time to act.

Nominate today and help shape the future of our organization!

With gratitude,
Derrick, on behalf of the Election Committee
