We're still under air quality advisory today and poor air quality exasperates asthma symptoms for many. Be careful if exercising outside and try to avoid adding to the haze!

Smoke from wildfires in the western United States and southern Canada, along with local weather conditions, have created the potential for unhealthy levels of fine airborne particles in every region of the state.

Great progress for food allergy labeling, safety and research!
FASTER Act will add sesame as a top allergen and require packaged foods to list the ingredient in food.

Action follows Senate passage on March 3; bill now goes to President Biden for his signature. Legislation requires that sesame be labeled on packaged foods; prioritizes food allergy research.
