Kateryna and her husband were displaced by the war, living with family, and overwhelmed when she discovered she was pregnant with twins. The pressure felt impossible. But after connecting with Mission to Ukraine, they received the counseling, encouragement, and practical support they needed to move forward with hope. Today, Valeriia and Vladyslav are a source of joy for their entire family.

Stories like Kateryna's are why we do what we do. To learn more about our work and how you can support families like hers, visit us at https://missiontoukraine.org/

Yevheniia was raising five children when she unexpectedly found out she was pregnant with twins. Her husband was opposed. The financial pressure felt crushing.

But she wasn't alone.

Through Mission to Ukraine, Yevheniia found practical support with baby formula, groceries, cribs, and a compassionate consultant named Natalia who walked beside her without judgment through every difficult moment.

Today, she's encouraging other women facing crisis pregnancies to reach out, hold on, and trust that with the right support, stability, and hope can be restored.

Stories like Yevheniia's are why Mission to Ukraine exists. If you'd like to help us reach more families in need, learn more and get involved at: https://missiontoukraine.org/

He came to us as a little boy who struggled to say what he needed. Today, Tymofii graduated from our "Side by Side with You" program.

Over the course of 1.5 years, we were there for his first independent choice, his first initiated contact, and his first stable interaction. Through perseverance and daily dedication Tymofii learned to communicate, express his emotions, and engage with the world around him.

Oksana Lohvinenko has been serving children with special needs since 2012, but in 2023, she faced a major crossroads. She had her visa and all her documents ready to move to Canada, but after praying for guidance, she felt God calling her to stay right here in Ukraine.

Now Oksana works as a teacher in our behavioral class, primarily helping children with autism. Every day she witnesses what she calls "little miracles" like a child making eye contact for the first time, learning to trust, or finally sharing a smile.

She truly believes she is exactly where God wants her to be, acting as His instrument to bring hope to tired parents and love to these precious children. We are so blessed to have her heart and dedication on our team.

We recently distributed baby food to parents raising children with special needs. For these families, this kind of practical support is so important, as the daily care for their children requires immense resources and constant attention.

Our goal is to stand alongside these parents and help ease their everyday challenges. This is just another way we can care for families who are walking a difficult journey with so much love and dedication. We are honored to be a part of their community.

As you look through each picture of a mother we serve, could you take a moment and lift them up in prayer?

One of the mothers MTU serves, Liudmyla, was facing a decision no mother should have to make alone. Between a difficult medical diagnosis and the weight of providing for her three children, the future felt uncertain. Even her husband wasn't sure if they could handle another baby.

When she reached out to Mission to Ukraine, everything changed. Through the care and encouragement she received, Liudmyla found the strength to choose life. She describes a deep sense of peace knowing she wouldn't have to walk through this season alone.

Today, Liudmyla has found more than just help; she has found a community of friends who truly understand her. We are so grateful to be part of her story.

Andrii’s brain is like a sponge, but because of a brain development anomaly, the world doesn’t always make sense to him. Sounds can be too loud, and touch can feel like too much.

That is where Liliia comes in. As his sensory therapist, she acts as the hands and feet of Jesus by serving kids like Andrii in creative and loving ways. Every time he reaches for a toy or holds his balance for a second longer, a new neural pathway is being built. We are so proud of the progress he is making.

Meet Larysa.

Her story with Mission to Ukraine started back in 1997, when she came to MTU as a mother in need. Years later, after experiencing that care herself, she started giving back. First, as a volunteer, sewing clothes for children and helping however she could.

In 2010, she officially joined the team. She’s now been serving children and families for over 15 years.

She often says Mission to Ukraine is her family, and you can see that in the way she cares for every child she works with.

Providing children’s food is one of the ways we support mothers facing difficult circumstances.

MTU provides everything from formula to cereals and purees; this care helps ensure their children can grow and develop.

As you scroll through these photos, would you take a moment to pray for these women who are facing incredible hardships and doing everything they can to care for their children?

In Ukraine, we recently held a gathering for women facing crisis pregnancies who have reached out to MTU for support. Our staff lovingly created a safe place to share, ask questions, and be heard.

Through the conversations our staff had, each woman received practical, emotional, and most importantly, spiritual support.

Please join us in prayer that these women will receive Christ, and for our staff who are walking alongside them.

Because the number of children we serve is so large, we rely on volunteers like Lidiia to help provide extra care, attention, and support to both children and mothers. It is wonderful to see God's compassion through the people of Ukraine.

Would you consider joining us in prayer over our staff and volunteers who faithfully serve the women and children of Ukraine?
