Meet Olya, our dedicated administrator. For a long time, Olya didn't think she had "special" talents like singing or art. But the Lord showed her that her gifts of organization, responsibility, and attention to detail were exactly what was needed for ministry.

Starting as a volunteer and secretary, Olya performed every task as unto the Lord. Today, she serves our team and clients by ensuring everything runs smoothly, from organizing daily lunches to supporting our staff in prayer. Because of the Love of Christ, Olya sees her administrative role not just as a job, but as a calling to care for others in the practical details of life. We are so blessed by her heart for service.

We are so grateful for our long time friend and donor, Uwe Gottwald. Recognizing the urgent needs in Ukraine, Uwe organizes multiple shipments of high quality HiPP baby food each year. This vital support provides essential nutrition for our children and relieves an immense financial burden for our mothers.

Because of the Love of Christ, we are blessed with partners who see a need and step in with compassion. This consistent aid is a beautiful reflection of God’s provision, significantly improving the quality of life for the families we serve. We thank God for hearts like Uwe’s that help us care for the most vulnerable.

The Love of Christ teaches us to meet every child exactly where they are. While Nazar’s session started with tears and anxiety, our specialist Zhenia patiently adjusted the pace to suit his needs. By honoring Nazar's reactions and offering careful attention, we saw breakthrough and calm. This gentle, individualized care is a direct reflection of the Love of Christ in action.

Today we gathered for a time of evangelism and fellowship, reminding every mother that she is seen and cherished by God. At Mission to Ukraine, we believe that every member of our team is placed here by a divine calling. Alina Marchuk, a nurse on our medical team, recently shared her powerful journey of seeking God’s guidance when her previous job became difficult to balance with her ministry. After much prayer, the opportunity to join MTU was presented to her twice by different people. Despite having the professional background required, Alina initially struggled with doubts and the fear of whether she was truly suitable for such a vital role.

To seek clarity, Alina began her journey with the Mission as a volunteer, coming to our center every day after finishing her regular job. During those two months, she discovered that Mission to Ukraine is not just a workplace, but a ministry where people are served with the heart of Christ. By the time her volunteer period ended, her fears had been replaced by a deep confidence in God’s plan. Today, Alina serves as a nurse on our team, dedicated to being a faithful instrument in God’s hands. We are so grateful for her humility, wisdom, and the professional care she provides to our families.

At the MTU center we recently dispatched much needed medicine to mothers throughout Ukraine. This practical expression of the compassionate love of Christ ensures that families have the resources they need during these difficult times. We are honored to serve as a lifeline for these mothers and to share the hope of Jesus through every delivery. Mission to Ukraine remains committed to providing essential care and holistic support to those who need it most.

During an air raid alert in Ukraine our team immediately moved the children to the safety of the shelter. In the midst of missile launches our specialists worked tirelessly to keep the children engaged and entertained to ease their fears. This is the compassionate love of Christ in action providing a sanctuary of peace and joy even in the face of danger. Mission to Ukraine remains dedicated to protecting and comforting these precious lives no matter what challenges the day brings.

Through our disability services in Ukraine we aim to reflect the compassionate love of Christ in every interaction. Today Sofiia shared the biblical story of Noah with Uliana while teaching her how to model a rainbow. These moments of connection and faith remind us that every child is a masterpiece created by God. Even in the midst of war we continue to provide holistic support and spiritual nourishment to families across Ukraine.

Four years ago today, the world watched as a full-scale attack was launched on Ukraine. Since then, we have seen 1,460 days of incredible sacrifice and resilience. At Mission to Ukraine, we invite you to pause and join us in prayer as we mark this heavy anniversary.

We pray for the families torn apart, for the brave souls on the front lines, and for every heart weary from the weight of this conflict. Most of all, we ask you to join us in praying for an end to this war. Your prayers and your solidarity mean more than ever.
