During Christmas, we celebrate Jesus Christ, the Light who entered a broken world to bring hope, peace, and redemption. That same light is still shining today, even in places marked by war, loss, and uncertainty.

Through Mission to Ukraine, we are reminded that God is at work as His people show up with compassion, faith, and love. As we serve families and support local churches, we point to the truth that darkness never has the final word.

As we reflect this Friday, may we carry the light of Christ into every place He calls us, trusting that His love will always shine brighter.

“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.” – 2 Corinthians 1:3-4

Please join us in prayer that Christ would bring comfort, hope, and peace to our Ukrainian brothers and sisters during this difficult time of war.

What a blessing to spend three wonderful days celebrating Christmas with parents! Twice daily, we gathered to share the true meaning and light of Jesus’ birth. Pastors shared God’s Word, Christmas songs filled the room, and joyful fellowship created a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Around 160 parents joined us, and we rejoiced as one young boy repented and accepted Jesus into his heart, a beautiful reminder that God’s Word is living and active. Each parent also received a Letter of Love and a calendar to take home.

We are so thankful for open hearts, this special time together, and the opportunity to share the Good News.

Day 5: Change 130 families’ lives this winter — $50 each

Meet Lydia and her baby girl.

Since the war began, every day has been a balancing act just to meet her daughter’s basic needs. Diapers are expensive and often hard to find, and their apartment grows bitterly cold when the heat cuts out. Each winter, Lydia worries how she’ll afford enough firewood to keep her baby warm.

She works hard, but the rising cost of supplies has made even simple necessities feel impossible. Too many times, she has stretched one pack of diapers far longer than any mother should have to.

At Mission to Ukraine, she found relief.
Lydia received winter aid that provided diapers, essential baby items, and help with staying warm through the coldest months. This support means her daughter will be safe, dry, and warm this winter.

Impact:
• $50 = winter aid for 1 family
• $6,500 = 130 families cared for

Today, we are changing the stories of 130 families. Olha’s is one of them.

Will you stand with a family this winter?

🪵 Day 5: Change 130 families’ lives this winter — $50 each!

Meet Maria and her daughter.

Since the war began, their life has been a constant struggle to stay warm, fed, and safe. Their small apartment is cold, food is scarce, and every winter brings fear they will not have enough to make it through.

Maria works hard, but rising prices and the ongoing war have left her unable to provide the basics her daughter needs. She often sacrifices her own meals so her child can eat.

At Mission to Ukraine, she found help when she needed it most.
Maria received winter aid that included warm clothing, food, and essential items for her home. This support means her daughter will go to bed warm and fed this winter.

Impact:
• $50 = winter aid for 1 family
• $6,500 = 130 families cared for

Today, we are changing the stories of 130 families, and Maria’s is one of them.

❤️Today’s goal: Fund 13 moms — $500 each.

When Iryna told her boyfriend she was pregnant, he disappeared. Overnight, she was left unsure of how she would survive.

She now lives in a small hostel room, barely able to afford food or rent. The fear of raising a baby alone felt overwhelming.
At Mission to Ukraine, she found the compassionate love of Christ through the hands of others.
Our team surrounded her with care, encouragement, and hope for her future. She even attended our summer retreat for moms, where she received prayer, support, and a community of women walking the same journey.

She received counseling, medical guidance, and essential aid such as diapers and baby clothes. She is now connected with a local church community for long-term support.

Impact:
• $45 = 1 month of support
• $500 = 1 mom fully cared for this year

Today, we are rewriting the stories of 13 moms, and Iryna is the second.

Will you help rewrite the ending of these moms’ stories?
