Indiana Orthopedic Institute (IOI) was recently featured in the Indianapolis Business Journal (IBJ) highlighting our mission to provide high-quality, lower-cost orthopedic care.
Our approach focuses on value-based care, research, and personalized patient service, ensuring that hip and knee replacement procedures are safe, efficient, and centered on the patient experience.
In the article, IOI Founder & CEO Dr. Michael Meneghini told IBJ Reporter Daniel Lee, “We have to treat every patient like they’re your own family, period. If you do that, you’ll see good decision-making, good judgment, and better outcomes.”
Dr. John Meding, IOI surgeon, added, “Being part of IOI allows us to collaborate closely, share ideas, and grow together as surgeons - all while keeping the patient at the center of every decision.”
This philosophy guides everything we do - from outpatient procedures that allow patients to go home the same day, to innovative processes that minimize costs without compromising safety or quality.
Our model doesn’t replace hospital-based care but offers patients and surgeons options, delivering procedures in the setting that’s most appropriate for each individual. With the right processes in place, more patients can benefit from efficient, safe, and high-quality orthopedic care.
