Special thanks to all who helped us out in Saturday!
I got a call Saturday morning that the storm had blown down one of our large oak trees. If you can’t tell in the photos, the trunk is probably 4’ wide in diameter.
Multiple people offered to help, and I appreciate every one of them!
Special thanks to Jason Castle, Jeremy Stewart, Stephen McCulloch, and Eli and Trip Yarbrough for all their help! They saw that we had a massive tree down, and they did not hesitate to volunteer to help out! They gave up their day, and gave energy, sweat, time, expertise, and equipment time to make sure we’re taken care of!
Thanks also to our family who pitched in and worked hard as well: my parents John and Kim Morris, my brothers Grady, Aaron, and Daniel, and our sons Ty and J.D.
Without all these people’s help, we would definitely still have a tree in the way, blocking our driveway and half the back yard! Heather and I got plenty of work in, ourselves, but we never would have gotten this done without every one else!
I also had numerous others offer to help, or offer to loan tools like chainsaws, etc. But before I realized who big of a project this was going to be, I told several people, “Nah, we got this.” (My bad! We used every bit of the help we had!). Thank you to all of you as well!
Days like this, it is great living in a small town, where you really know what “community” means. Thank you to all!
