Today we’re proud to highlight one of our incredible Clinical Navigators Misty Young, who has been part of the PAM Health family since April 2024 and brings over 30 years of nursing experience to our team.

She was inspired to pursue nursing at a young age after watching her grandmother bravely battle breast cancer and dementia. Throughout her career she has worked in neurology, orthopedics, home health, hospice, and now rehabilitation.

At PAM Health, her passion is clear:

✨ Supporting patients and families as they navigate the road to recovery

✨ Being a positive, respectful presence for colleagues and patients

Her proudest accomplishment?

🌟 Employee Spotlight: Physician Liaison 🌟

Meet our Physician Liaison Courtney Shoecraft, who has been part of the PAM Health family since April 2024. Each day starts with supporting our case managers, rounding at partner facilities, completing bedsides, and helping patients begin their rehab journey with clear expectations and realistic goals.

Inspired by her great-grandmother’s battle with dementia, she pursued healthcare to provide the support her own family once needed. She loves helping patients return to their prior level of function and is proud of returning to school to earn her nursing license.

She’s motivated daily by her goal of becoming a nurse and being a teammate her peers and leadership can rely on—always striving to be better than the day before. 💙💪

We’re proud to highlight our Clinical Navigator Jennifer Simon at PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Venice! Since opening day, she’s played a key role in reviewing referrals, meeting with patients and families, and coordinating with our clinical team to ensure accurate and timely pre-admission evaluations.

A healthcare career runs in her family—her grandmother was a nurse who delivered her at birth—and that passion guides the way she supports patients through the rehab process. She helped our hospital ramp up when it first opened and continues to be a driving force in keeping care seamless and patient-centered.

Her motivation comes from knowing her work directly impacts whether patients get the rehab care they need during stressful moments. We’re grateful for her dedication and commitment to our community. 💙

Today we’re proud to highlight our Physician Navigator Laura Pucher at PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Venice. For nearly two years, she has played a key role in educating community partners about our acute rehab services and helping patients navigate the admission process with confidence and compassion.

Her healthcare journey began as an Activity Director while putting herself through college—an experience that sparked her passion for helping others. She went on to become a Regional Director overseeing nine skilled nursing facilities for 22 years, one of her proudest achievements.

She loves being part of a team that feels like family and is motivated each day by the opportunity to ease patients’ worries and support them on their path back home.

We’re grateful for the dedication and heart she brings to PAM Health! 💙
