The world is telling me something. I was told recently and “verbally” that I was going to be a throwing coach at a local high school. Then, today, I get a call telling me they hired someone else without even letting me apply or give me an interview.

I’m a multiple time state winning champion coach. I have had an athlete on the state podium on every position 1-8 in three different events over the past three years. There hasn’t been a throwing coach in Whatcom County or the state for that matter that has had the success I have had as a throws coach over the same time period.

The high school coaching world continues to puzzle me.

Our athletes know the importance of training their core.

It’s go time

It’s go time

With 4 levels inside the program, your strength and proficiency determines what level you train at.

The higher the level, the more advanced the movements and programming.

Everyone starts at Level 1.

Everyone. No exceptions.

You only get a few opportunities to level up over the course of the year but it’s the time to show what you’re made of.

Are you ready to LEVEL UP?

The start is the most important part of sprinting.

Get better at it...

Sports aren’t played in a straight line. You need to train all directions

It’s time to take it up a bit...

It’s time to take it up a bit...

If you know, you know.

Next phase of programming drops today and I hold nothing back. It’s been 8-10 weeks of training and we are taking things up a notch.

Percentages are higher. Intensity is much higher and expectations are sky high.

If you’re not willing to put in the work to become the best athlete you can be, let me know because I have athletes on a waiting list that would give anything to come train with the best damn high school strength coach in the state!

Hallowed ground....

Hallowed ground....

The place where dreams are forged with sweat, hard work and a willingness to be challenged and taken out of your comfort zone.

Teenagers, now more than ever, need an outlet.

Their sports have been taken away.

Their in-person social lives are limited.

But they gym, the gym is their place.

It’s their time

If you are a parent of a high school athlete, you need to implement a new rule when it comes to eating:

3x3 and 5x9

Each athlete must have 3 meals by 3 pm and 5 meals by 9 pm.

No exceptions. No excuses.

Poor eating and sleeping habits are keeping your athlete from reaching their true athletic potential.
