What a spooktacular time we had celebrating fall with our annual Pumpkin Decorating Contest here at Nora Springs Care Center! 🍂✨
Our staff showed off their creativity with some truly amazing pumpkin designs — from festive to everything in between!

There's nothing quite like the unconditional love of a dog — and our therapy dogs Addie, Luka, and Cash are living proof! 🐶✨
Whether it's a gentle nuzzle, a calming presence, or a tail wag that lights up the room, these three bring comfort, smiles, and healing wherever they go. From home to our senior center, Addie, Luka, and Cash are always ready to share their love and brighten someone’s day.

We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to St. Luke’s Lutheran Church for their generous donation that provided haircuts for our residents in need here at Nora Springs Care Center. Your support brought more than just fresh styles — it brought joy, confidence, and connection. 💕
A special thank you to Jean, our wonderful beautician, for sharing her time and talents with such love and care. Her gentle touch and bright spirit made the day even more special for everyone.

🍎🍏 National Johnny Appleseed Day + PJ Day = One Cozy & Crunchy Celebration! 🍏🍎

The staff at Nora Springs Care Center had a delightful time celebrating National Johnny Appleseed Day and Facility Pajama Day in the coziest way possible — by rocking their favorite PJs and snacking on a sweet variety of apples!
From crisp Gala and juicy Honeycrisp to tart Granny Smiths, it was an apple-filled day of fun, flavor, and a little bit of fall spirit. 🍂✨

🍎 Baking Fun at Nora Springs Care Center! 🍎
This month’s Baking Fun was a sweet success! Our residents rolled up their sleeves and got creative making Apple Pie in a Cup — a delicious treat that had the whole room smelling like fall. 🍂
While we stirred and layered, the conversation turned to everyone’s favorite kinds of pie (pecan, pumpkin, Lemon Meringue — you name it!) and the upcoming holidays. It was a heartwarming afternoon filled with stories, smiles, and the simple joy of good food and good company.
We’re so thankful for these special moments shared together. ❤️

Chair Yoga Recap: Connecting Community & Wellness at Summit Heights Independent & Assisted Living
We had a fantastic time gathering with friends from the community and our wonderful tenants at Summit Heights Independent & Assisted Living for a rejuvenating Chair Yoga session! 🪑✨
The class was full of gentle stretches, mindful breathing, and calming movements designed to improve flexibility and promote relaxation—all while comfortably seated. It was heartwarming to see everyone participate with enthusiasm and share smiles as we focused on wellness together. 😊🧘‍♀️
Events like these not only support physical health but also strengthen our bonds and create a joyful, inclusive atmosphere. We’re grateful to everyone who joined us and made it such a special experience. 🤝💙

🎉 Card Club at Summit Heights Independent & Assisted Living 🃏
We had a wonderful time at the recent Card Club gathering here at Summit Heights Independent & Assisted Living! Residents joined together with community members for an afternoon full of fun, laughter, and friendly competition. 😊💬
It was heartwarming to see everyone connecting over classic card games ♠️♥️, sharing stories 📖, and building new friendships 🤝.
