Celebrating the Grand Opening of Our 23-Hour Crisis Receiving Center
Dear Friends and Supporters,
We are thrilled to share the success of our Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for Life’s Journey 23-Hour Crisis Receiving Center, held on Friday, September 19th. Your presence and encouragement made this milestone truly special. Thank you for taking the time to celebrate with us and for showing such incredible support for our mission.
Our Crisis Receiving Center was created to provide compassionate, immediate support for individuals experiencing a crisis. We are overjoyed by the outpouring of love we’ve received from our community and partners as we begin this vital work.
What We Offer
At our center, individuals in crisis will have access to:
• Nutritious meals and snacks
• Hygiene kits and a hot shower
• New undergarments, socks, and clothing from our closet
• Onsite laundry (1–2 loads per visit)
• Nursing and psychiatric assessments
• Direct crisis support and linkage to long-term care
Understanding 23-Hour Crisis Stabilization
Our 23-Hour Crisis Stabilization program provides a safe, structured environment offering up to 23 hours of observation, assessment, and immediate intervention. This service is designed to help stabilize individuals, determine the next steps for their care, and reduce unnecessary hospitalizations.
We are honored to serve our community through this much-needed resource and grateful for the partnerships that make our work possible. Together, we can provide hope, healing, and a path forward for those in crisis.
Warmly,
The Life’s Journey Team
