This month's ASL Hangout is Saturday, December 13 at 6:00pm until 9:00pm, at Froggie's The ASL Hangout goal is to bring deaf, hard of hearing, and hearing people together to socialize and expand the ASL/deaf community. Froggie's is located at 3656 Shore Drive, Virginia Beach
*This event is not organized by ECI. Bus and paratransit tickets will not be provided by ECI.

AFFORDABLE HOUSING OPPORTUNITY FOR BAINS POINTE ONLY
The Portsmouth Redevelopment and Housing Authority (PRHA) will open its waiting list for Bains Pointe Eight (8) Project Based 2 and 3 bedroom units beginning Thursday, December 11, 2025, at 9:00 AM and closing on Thursday, December 11, 2025, at 4:00 PM. The property is located at 1100 High Street, Portsmouth, VA. To be given preference/priority on the waitlist, applicants must be living or working in the City of Portsmouth, elderly and/or disabled families, a PRHA Section 8/Housing Choice Voucher participant terminated due to insufficient funding, a veteran, an applicant involuntarily displaced by government action in the City of Portsmouth, or homeless as defined by HUD.

All applications will be accepted online only. Applicants will be placed on the preliminary waiting list according to the Agency preference(s) and a lottery system. The lottery system will randomly pick the applicants. Once each applicant has been randomly assigned a number, the applications will be placed on the preliminary waitlist in order of the assigned numbers and preferences. Upon acceptance of the application, applicants will be given a confirmation number. Applicants are encouraged to print the confirmation page containing this number or document the confirmation number, as it will be used to identify your application.

Results from the lottery will be posted by 5:00pm on Friday, December 19, 2025, on the Authority’s website at www.prha.org
