One of the biggest reasons bodies change after 40
and it has nothing to do with willpower.

Most women don’t suddenly “start doing it wrong” in midlife.
What catches up is years of undereating.

When you consistently eat below your BMR, your body adapts to survive:

• Muscle mass declines
• Metabolism slows
• Fat storage increases
• Hunger shows up later as binge eating

This is sarcopenia, and it doesn’t start at menopause.

It can begin as early as your 30s and accelerates in your 40s and 50s especially when food intake stays too low.
