A tummy tuck is a procedure many women (and men) consider in their 30's & 40's after they've created their families and are crushing it at life. A tummy tuck (abdominoplasty) is not a weight loss surgery, it is designed to address structural changes that diet, exercise, and medical weight loss cannot fix.

During a breast augmentation I use a device called a Keller Funnel. It allows the implant to glide into position through a small incision while maintaining a sterile no-touch technique.

1. It's a no-touch technique where the implant goes directly from it's sterile packaging into the body without being handled too much.
2. Because the implant slides through the funnel, the incision can be smaller.
3. It reduces stress on the implant.
4. It allows for a more precise placement with less trauma to the surrounding tissue.

It's basically a sterile piping bag that lets me slide the implant right into place.

I'm seeing a lot of implant revisions for saline implants. They're truly not the standard of care anymore.

Before your tummy tuck, I'd like you to prepare by skipping the stress of cleaning and prepping meals. Instead I'd like you to:

- Stop smoking and va**ng entirely
- Relax as much as possible
- Make sleeping and hydrating a priority
- Avoid medications that increase bleeding

Prepare your body to heal in advance, and it will!
