Next week, we will offer the next workshop for Visual Conversations in Portsmouth at Sanctuary of Hope Church. One of the Norfolk participants shared her experience:

"Some of the BEST decision's I've made include getting involved in opportunities to learn and connect with people through hands-on experiences.
And Visual Conversations hosted by Dr. Mary Roberts and Dr. Brett Sierra of EVMS as Slover Library in Norfolk was a safe and welcoming, educational, and quite therapeutic 4-week (one-day a week) experience.
Each week featured a different topic for which factual information and data were shared, and trauma informed care and youth mentorship were explored, and from which open and intimate conversations and art produced eye-opening perspectives of the mind."
Join us for this free opportunity next Wednesday, January 10th from 5pm-7:30pm. Visit https://www.evms.edu/education/masters_programs/art_therapy_counseling_program/arts_for_optimal_health/ for more information and to register.
This project is funded by the Hope and Healing Grant by United Way of South Hampton Roads.
