Congratulations to Lucas and Judah. With support from Eggleston’s Collaborative Community Connections (C3) program, they successfully completed the placement exam process and are now ready to begin classes to earn their GED.

We were honored to welcome Donna Bonessi, Director for Employment Services and Special Programs with the Virginia Department for Aging and Rehabilitative Services (DARS), to Eggleston this week!

During her visit, we toured several of our Community Employment placement sites, where adults with disabilities are building skills, gaining independence, and making meaningful contributions in workplaces throughout our community.

Opportunities like these are made possible through strong partnerships, and we’re grateful to collaborate with DARS to expand employment pathways for the individuals we serve. Together, we’re helping create a community that truly values all abilities. 💙

🌟 A Warrior’s Weekend 🌟

Eggleston’s Warrior Bridge program is hosting a special retreat designed to give Veterans who have experienced trauma a safe, supportive space to connect, share, and heal.

We’re honored to welcome Sandra Walker Nichols, PhD, APRN, FNP‑BC, GNP‑BC, PMHNP‑BC, who will be speaking about post‑traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and offering valuable insight for attendees.
