🌟 Employee Spotlight: Renecia Thornton 🌟

Renecia plays a key role behind the scenes, helping ensure Eggleston’s federal contracts run smoothly and stay compliant — work that directly supports jobs and services for people with disabilities.

Outside of work, she’s all about experiences: concerts, festivals, and event planning (she loves a good production). She’s a proud Dallas Cowboys fan through and through and enjoys life with her husband Beck, their baby daughter, and their maltipoo, Maci.

Born in Norfolk, Virginia, Tim Reid is an award-winning actor, writer, director, and producer best known for WKRP in Cincinnati and Sister, Sister. A Tony Award winner and Presidential Medal of Freedom recipient, he also co-founded New Millennium Studios, one of the largest Black-owned film studios in the U.S., leaving a lasting impact on entertainment and representation.

Meet Kenny White, Senior Director of Special Projects at Eggleston. With 18 years of service (and counting!), Kenny supports our leadership team through financial and operational analysis—and most importantly, loves being part of an organization that serves people with disabilities in our local community.

Outside of work, you’ll find Kenny on the golf course, walking near First Landing State Park and the Chesapeake Bay, or cheering on the Washington Commanders.

Love at First Fright 💕💀🖤

Last Friday, individuals from Eggleston’s Day Services, Residential, and Work Programs came together for a frightfully fun Valentine’s celebration! From creating handmade Valentines and mixing up “love potions” to rocking temporary tattoos and getting playful tarot card readings, the afternoon was full of laughter, creativity, and—of course—plenty of dancing.

Events like these are more than just a good time. They help build meaningful friendships, strengthen natural supports, and foster independence—core to Eggleston’s mission.
