Did I ever mention how much I love the snow?!? ❄️😍

My patients know they can’t come into my office hating on the snow when it arrives because this Doc has nothing but love for the magical white stuff falling from the sky! ❤️

Could be my winter born spirit or my midwestern heart… either way you know I’m living my best life when it is snowing! 🌨️

Who are my fellow snow lovers?!? Let me know who you are by giving this post some love 💕

So many different ways people flip over on the table!

Starting off the series with two of my favorites, the roll and wiggle and the quick flip.

Are either of these two when you get adjusted? Let me know by liking this post.

Stay tuned for more of these soon 😉

There was one point where I thought, “I will never be able to hang upside down on a pole.”

But guess what, I can now. And it’s because I kept with it and consistently showed up to work on pole.

You might feel similar to the way that I did, except not about hanging on a pole, but about something else in your health and wellness.

You may think you will never be able to achieve your health goals because it seems impossible.

But I’m here to tell you, that if I can hang upside down on a pole, then you can achieve whatever health goals you have for yourself.

You can do anything you want if you know how to get yourself to that goal. And if you don’t know how to get yourself there? Well, I’m here to help you figure that out!

Want me to help you achieve your goals? Reach out and let’s chat. ❤️

Yes, it’s ok to take time for yourself away from your kids.

I know, it’s hard to want to leave your kiddos and possibly miss something as they are growing and changing so quickly.

But you can’t be there for everything and you also need time to be the version of you outside of your “Mom” identity.

It’s not selfish to take time for yourself outside of being a mom.

In fact, it’s important to invest in yourself so that you have more to give back to your family.

You require love and care too. ❤️

I had someone recently remind me…

I am strong and capable of more than I think.

Sometimes we need others to help remind us of the things that we often don’t see in ourselves on a regular basis.

So this is my reminder to all of YOU…

You are strong and you are capable of more than you think.

Sending you some love today. ❤️

I get asked the question, “how do you make time for all the things you do?” a lot.

And my honest answer is that if I didn’t make the time for the things that I love and fill my cup, I would burn out and feel resentful having to take care of everyone else but me.

The activities I make time for are the things that I consider my self care, which includes various exercise activities like tennis, pickleball, pole fit, and barre as well as more laid back activities like reading, sticker collages books, putting together puzzles, and building Lego.

That may not be what fills your cup, but whatever it is that you find helps reconnect you to yourself, you should be making time in your weekly schedule to do it.

I’m not saying it’s easy. It took me years to get these things built into my schedule. But that is how you do it. Slow and small at first while building onto it and adding more as you are able to incorporate them.

If that seems like a daunting task, the good news is that you don’t have to do it on your own. I can help you figure out just how to make these activities sustainable long term over time.

It’s possible to make time in your schedule to work on yourself.

Even if you think there is no possible way you can add one more thing to your weekly schedule.

The key is understanding how to add things in your schedule so that it can be sustainable over time.

It’s a slower process of adding small things in and building on them to create the space in your schedule that you need and the long term habit that you want.

If you are not sure how to do that, that is what a coach is for! I can help you build the health habits you want in a sustainable and stress free way!

Self care is more than just eating healthy and exercising.

It’s about finding things that bring you joy and fill your cup.

It’s doing the things you that you love but never make time for.

It’s taking time for just you to be you in whatever form you want to be in.

It’s allowing yourself to focus on just YOUR needs and your wants.

Self care isn’t selfish, it’s a requirement to reconnect to yourself on a regular basis. ❤️

Your self care workout time doesn’t have to be anything you don’t want it to be.

You don’t have to wake up at 5:00 AM or earlier to get it in.

You don’t have to just go to a standard gym and do weights and the treadmill.

If you love that kind of workout, then do it!

If the idea of that makes you hate your workout… find something else!

Try something new that looks like fun, fall in love with moving your body.

If you hate waking up early and you are exhausted from having to go workout early in the morning, find a new way to fit in working out into your schedule.

It’s possible! You can find time to move your body the way you enjoy when it works for you.

Need some help figuring out how to do that? Let me help you! That’s my passion, helping women find themselves again through wellness.

I went from never being able to find time for myself to having consistent times in my weekly schedule to do things for my health.

It didn’t happen over night. It was a slow process of integrating things little by little.

I also didn’t do it on my own. I had a coach helping me to look at things a different way and brainstorm new options I never thought about.

That’s the benefit of having someone work with you… you don’t have to figure everything out on your own. You have someone there to help to see things in a different perspective and get you out of the constant struggle loop.

A person who can help you navigate your way to your goals.

Are you looking for someone to help you make time for your health? My passion is helping women rediscover themselves. DM me and let’s chat. ❤️

Meet Dr. Taylor Liccar

“Everything that happens, happens of necessity.” – Arthur Schopenhauer

As a person who likes to have things planned out ahead of time, life has continually showed me that everything that happens, happens of necessity, and this is exactly how I have ended up where I am in the chiropractic profession.

At the age of 16 I started experiencing low back pain while pitching for the high school softball team. I soon started seeing a local chiropractor and quickly fell in love with the profession and the health philosophy that chiropractic was born from. After being born and raised in Bloomington-Normal, after graduating from Normal Community West High School I was ready to set off on my adventure to fulfill my dream of becoming a chiropractor.
