In hospice care, kindness is at the heart of everything we do, from easing patients’ pain to sitting with families in their grief. Today, we celebrate the everyday acts of compassion that make the world a little brighter for those who need it most.

A special Veterans Day moment at Senior Suites Nursing Home in Broken Arrow, OK. Our Community Liaison, Tara, shared that her husband, Joseph, who recently retired after 23 years in the Army, had the honor of pinning the veterans at the facility.

Among them was our own patient, Robert, pictured with Tara and Joseph. We’re grateful for all who have served and for the opportunity to honor their dedication and sacrifice. ❤️🤍💙

We are especially humbled to care for Veterans in hospice, offering programs designed to recognize their unique needs and honor their service, including pinning ceremonies, Quilt of Valor presentations, and Veteran-to-Veteran volunteer visits. To all Veterans, thank you for your selflessness and for protecting the freedom we cherish.

It’s Nurse Practitioner Week, and we are proud to recognize the vital role our NPs play in providing expert, compassionate care. Nurse Practitioners bring advanced clinical knowledge and a dedication to helping patients live with dignity and comfort. In hospice, their care extends beyond managing symptoms; they support families, offer guidance in decision making, and provide reassurance during uncertain times.
