🌟 Scholarship Spotlight: Kyle France 🌟

Meet Kyle, one of our incredible NRHl Foundation scholarship recipients! Kyle was awarded the Ortho Central Scholarship and will began the Doctor of Physical Therapy program at OU HSC this Summer, 2025.
Currently working in orthopedic casting, splinting, and bracing at Norman Regional, Kyle has already made an impact on patients while preparing for his future career as a physical therapist. His passion grew out of his own health journey, inspiring him to help others regain their strength and mobility.

Thanks to the Ortho Central Scholarship and the generosity of our donors, Kyle can pursue his education with less financial burden, giving him the freedom to focus on patient care, research, and bringing innovative therapies back to Oklahoma. 💜

We’re so proud of you, Kyle, and grateful to our donors who make stories like his possible!

🌟 Scholarship Spotlight: Alison Hughes 🌟

Meet Alison Hughes, a dedicated member of our Norman Regional family whose compassion, positivity, and commitment to patient care shine every single day. Alison has been part of the team for over 11 years, starting as a CNA in high school and now working as a PCT and UA. She has a gift for staying calm in even the most chaotic moments while providing comfort and quality care to patients and support to her coworkers.

This year, Alison was awarded the Randy Laffoon Scholarship, helping her pursue her dream of becoming a Nurse Practitioner while continuing to serve the Norman community she calls home. Her next step is earning her R.N. and bachelor’s degree while gaining experience in the ICU or ER.

Kari’s journey at Norman Regional started as a nursing student in 2008. From bedside care to program certifications, mentoring new nurses, and beating stage III breast cancer, Kari has shown strength and compassion every step of the way. 💜

Now, in her final semester for her BSN and already dreaming about a master’s degree, Kari is proof that it’s never too late to chase your goals. 🌟
