Chef Kerri prepared a delicious holiday meal for residents, featuring classic favorites and healthy options.

Entrée: Sliced turkey with cornbread dressing, green bean casserole, cranberries with rosemary, and an oven-fresh roll with butter.

Healthy Choice: Baked ham with mashed potatoes and gravy, green bean casserole, and an orange slice with basil.

Dessert: Warm peach cobbler to finish the meal!

Rivermont Assisted Living & Memory Care residents, family, and friends took part in the Honoring Veterans Event.

Certificates of Appreciation were presented to Veterans and corsages were given to each of the ladies.

A brief history of each branch of service was given, the poem in "Flanders Field" was read aloud, and everyone took part in a Pledge of Allegiance.

The event was topped off with cake and a Patriotic Medley by Pianist Nathan Sobel - thank you to the 40 & 8 Veterans Organization and Home Instead for helping to make this event special for Rivermont Veterans!
