This , we would like to take a moment to uplift an OU treasure and , Katy Powers. Katy diligently serves the OU community as the Director of Outreach for the OU Norman Campus Behavior Intervention Team as well as an Adjunct Instructor for Foundations for College Learning and Strategies for Success. Through her roles on campus, she strives to emulate and also to encourage students towards the opportunity of listening. She finds guidance from her favorite work on the subject, “You’re Not Listening: What You’re Missing and Why it Matters,” by Kate Murphy. Thank you for all you do, Katy!👏👏👏

The countdown to OU Giving Day is on and we are only one month away🤩☝️For Giving Day 2025,
we will be asking for your support to help launch the Patient Assistance Fund through OU Health Services. 🎉 The Patient Assistance Fund will help eligible OU students access essential medical care without the burden of financial stress. This fund will provide up to $50 per semester (up to $100 per academic year) for out-of-pocket medical expenses, prescription co-pays, and University Counseling Center services.

Your generosity on Giving Day, April 8, 2025, will ensure that all students, regardless of insurance status, have access to the healthcare and counseling services they need to succeed academically and personally.
