It was a great opportunity to learn, connect, and advocate for inclusion here in . Students also had the chance to meet with Senator Mary Boren & showcase what Sooner Works means to them!

Join us for Sooner Works College Preview Day and spend a day on the OU campus learning what the Sooner Works program is all about.

📅 Wednesday, April 22 | 8:30am - 2

Students and families will have the chance to:
• Learn about the program and admissions
• Meet the Sooner Works team and current students
• Tour the OU campus

This event is open to high school students (grades 9–12) and recent graduates with intellectual or developmental disabilities who are interested in exploring college through Sooner Works.

We’re excited to share that Sooner Works Summer Academy will be returning to the OU campus this summer!

The 2026 academy will take place June 16-19, and it’s a great opportunity for students to explore college life, practice self-advocacy and career readiness skills, and connect with other students who may be interested in programs like Sooner Works.

🏈 Keep an eye out for Addie Trout at today's OU game! The freshman in the OU Sooner Works program been selected to be an OU RUF/ NEK Lil' Sis, a historic spirit organization at the University of Oklahoma! ⭕🙌

The RUF NEK/ Lil Sis squad is an all female group dedicated to supporting OU athletics by generating crowd enthusiasm, engaging with fans, and representing the university at campus and community events.

These spirited students play an active role in OU's legendary game day traditions by operating the iconic Sooner Schooner and ceremonial shotguns that bring unforgettable energy to every home game.

Addie's involvement is a wonderful reflection of inclusion, tradition, and student leadership at OU.
